FOR SALE:
I’ve got an extra, brand new saddle brown case for the 15PM from Ryan London. They sent me a spare one because of some issues with my first, but I’ve really gotten to like the patina on my current one, so I’m not planning to switch. This case usually goes for around $72. It’s got a sleek closed bottom and a cool metal camera ring. If you’re eyeing a Ryan London case, here’s your chance to snag one without the wait and for less cash.

I’m letting it go for $55, shipping on me, anywhere in the U.S. Hit me up if you’re interested, open to offers.

Yeah, but that’s a lot of potential functionality to give up to avoid a few scratches. It would be much simpler if Caudabe would just fix their d@mned case… lol.

With Qi2 coming soon most chargers will have magnets, which will leave only charging by cable to avoid case scratch marks. With Apple most likely eventually eliminating the charge port altogether I think this is something we’ll have to accept.
Yea but there’s also the potential of permanent marks with other cases besides Caudabe.

I won’t be upgrading for at least 2 years anyway. I’ll worry about it then.

Until the C-ring showed up this year, the Sheath used to be one of the few cases that didn’t show MagSafe marks. That’s one of the only reasons I keep trying to get one that’s not defective.

If the Apple silicone wasn’t silicone that would be my case. Perfect form factor.

Yeah it’s always been a really nice, lightweight case. I feel like they used to be more durable though? I have an Apple Store credit burning a hole in my pocket so may order one up anyway.

Right now the aramid Phone Rebel is glued to my phone. I’ve acclimated to the rough sides and now like it so much that I’m not feeling motivated to change out cases at all.

@thatappleguytoday said I think in his top case post that thinks the silicone is made better. But even if it is made better silicone isn’t that durable compared to the Sheath.

Been a while, but hello again all.

Anyone with the Andar Aspen - is it comfy for pinky resting? I often find leather cases have sharp cutouts and pinky pain really annoys me, but I’m so tempted by this case.

What do y’all recommend for frosted clear cases? I was thinking the Frosted Rebel but don’t plan on using it that much since I have Apple silicones in my rotation. Those with the spigen ultra hybrid, how is the grip?

Cutouts are all smooth on mine 👍🏻 no issues with the pinky prop

Have the frosted black and it's mighty slippery.

Ordered a glossy rebel , a clear rebel with MagSafe, and the free orange button kit as well as the titanium button kit. Then went back and placed a second order for another titanium button kit set and matte black set because I’m stupid lol
Looks like the natural titanium and blue titanium kits are sold out now. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s configurations.

Probably second thoughts. Just want something simple since I switch cases often. The apple silicone is go to and I won’t use it much to spend another $40 on a clear case.
Yeah me too. i have an apple winter blue silicone case and a Andar aspen Navy leather so was thinking maybe add a frosted case but not sure how much i would customize since it would cost me a lot being in Canada.

Damn, those natural titanium kits didn't last long, like 2 days. I guess he had like 10 sets made.

Every time I try on an Apple Silicone, I’m always “wow” this is how a case should be in terms of form factor and feel in the hand without considering the silicone material.

I’ve said the the Sheath is close to the form factor of the Apple Silicone but after trying the silicone on again yesterday with my Sheath with me for me a noticeable difference in depth that made me say “wow holy sh*t. So now I think the Sheath isn’t as close as I thought but still the closest.

If the Apple Silicone was the same or similar material as the Sheath for me it would be a clear winner.

Caudabe if you’re listening. Make the Sheath thinner and keep the Synthesis the same.
I’ve seen a few people say that the sheath is a close as it gets, form factor, to the Apple Silicone.

It’s most definitely not IMO. The Sheath is a brick in comparison

How so? Do you have the dimensions and weights to be able to do a fair comparison?

Well yea the Sheath is heavier.

I’m referring to form factor like how a case is shaped like the iPhone is and dimension such as length width and height.

Yeah I get that.

I’m not just referring to the weight. The Sheath completely changes the shape and feel of the phone. It is a lot chunkier and has harsher edges than the silicone
