How do you keep it fingerprint and smudge free? I do love this case but not the grease pit on the back.

Think I'll dig mine out and give it another run later today.

My hands are pretty dry. I’ve seen some fingerprints and smudges, but when I put it in my pocket, they basically are wiped away each time.

Pitaka appears to use a soft-touch rubber/vinyl material on the camera ring. It feels premium but once it gets nicked it starts to peel (as mine did). The same material is used to coat the non-aramid front portion of the case too.

The silver/white color that appears is likely the underlying plastic.
Here you go:

Raised Camera Lip

Nothing parallels a raised camera lip made from a seamless blend of metal and silica gel. Save your precious lenses from scratches and damage.

I have the MagEZ 4 and the camera lip is made of recycled aramid fiber. No wear on mine.

The metal camera surround is protected by a TPU bumper which has me wondering what is causing the wear mentioned above. Any ideas?
Yes, it appears to me that the camera bezel is made from 2 different materials, the outer TPU ring which you mention, and the inner ring which is where the line appeared on mine. It is made of a harder material which I would agree is some sort of metal as that was the exposed silver on its edge. The outer TPU ring sits higher so no telling what the cause. I can't really see it now that I went over the area with the marker but it is something to be aware of.

(I posted this before seeing the above from walds11)

Torras Magnetic Guardian back from the DEAD o_O Had to dig it out after seeing twx's post.

Just noticed they have an aramid fiber version of this with metal buttons, might have to give it a try

Have you ever tried the Benks or Enzo? They are about $20 cheaper than the Pitaka. Was just wondering if the $20 more justifies the price.
I haven’t had a Benks in hand but I don’t like that the camera surround has the branding on it and there’s no lining inside.

I had an Enzo briefly but it felt less premium than the Pitaka to me.

Does anyone have the Caudabe Sheath in both gray and celestial blue colors? Is there a difference in feel, softness and texture?

Do you find it grippy? I love the grip of the regular magEZ 4 but found on the pro the it was all really smooth and added to the boxy design it didn’t find it grippy at all.
No, it’s not a highly textured extreme grip like the Phone Rebel or Synthesis, it has more of a mid-level grip like the Nomad cases or others with smooth TPU sides.

Oh okay. I purchased mine from the Phone Rebel website!

I don't know if I can be bothered to send it all the way back to the US from the UK and wait for a replacement. I might contact them though and see what they say incase they send me a new one for free.
What colour extra buttons did you get with your frosty?

Any Nomad Sport users out there have some pictures of the case after a few weeks of wear? Curious of the glossy back gets a ton of scratches in day to day. Thx!

The black has been one of my most used cases and all I did was wipe the smudges away so you can see the condition. I don't see any marks or anything with day to day usage. The other colors I have so no damage as well. If you are worried however, I'd get the white as the white is super clean.

Yeah the Frosty combo you have looks good. If it wasn’t so expensive to delivery the buttons to Canada i would buy. It cost $21 to deliver and that is almost as much as the buttons cost themselves. The natural titanium on the frosty does look good as well.
