That sucks. So what are you going to do?
I will just keep it.

I mean it is only in the corner of the case and isn't noticeable at all especially since my iPhone is White. You only can the defect when you remove the phone from the case and you have the case close up to to your eyes.
Obviously, this shouldn't be happening as the case is only a couple of days old but it seems the frost wearing off after removing the phone from the case seems to be a common issue. I think Tee mentioned it as well in one of his videos as well.

That’s why they offered you a partial because it would be too expensive to ship you a replacement.
That's my thinking as well. That's the annoying thing about purchasing cases from other countries. It is a hassle when you need to return it and can be expensive just to get a replacement.

Just order from your own country and don’t get sucked into the glamour.

Yup it always cost us more to return compared to somone to living in the US.

But this forum makes you get sucked in with all the nice cases Lol. I could have ordered a Keyway leather case since they are Canadian but i got the Andar aspen since there was so much hype about it.

Bummer! Did you order direct from PR or through Amazon?

I have to hand it to Pitaka; with my peeling finish issues, their support was super responsive and helpful. Replacement case was shipped within a few days, virtually no questions asked.
Ordered from the Phone Rebel website. I don't think the PR case is sold on Amazon UK if not I would have ordered through Amazon.

How does the Nomad Sport compare to an Apple silicone case as far as size/shape/weight/hand-feel? (Ignoring the obvious difference in materials, of course.) It looks like a similar fit from photos.

Very similar. Both are lightweight, but the sili is def a touch lighter. Fit is excellent on both. Grip is excellent on both. MagSafe and buttons are way better on the Nomad.

Both are easy recommended

Remove the phone from the bottom first. It happens only when removing the phone any other way and then the phone scrapes the bottom when lifting out.

That’ll prevent further frosting scraping off

What do you mean? They don't see the case in the UK unless you mean I should have opted for a different case instead of buying the Phone Rebel. I only bought it because of the great reviews on here and a lot of the cases I tried I did not like, for example the Otterbox Core and the Apple Silicone.

Yeah, except then the alignment magnet might come out lol. Gotta pick one I guess; alignment magnet or frost

i hope i dont have any of these issues everyone is having lol when mine arrives on Tuesday or Wednesday.

You’ll be fine, I’m sure. I had the alignment magnet come out on my first Synthesis and they sent me a new one, but a tiny drop of super glue and the original case still works like new. Just don’t overdo the glue. A tiny drop would fix it (if it happened).

I agree it shouldn’t happen, but it’s really an easy fix if it does on the Rebel Frosted as well as the Synthesis.

Good to know. Thanks.

That’s the risk you have to take.

Question for anyone who has bought from Phone Rebel who is Canadian. Did you have to pay any custom or duties and how was it done? Was it through Canada post or through USPS Since it gets handed over to Canada post from USPS.

Anyone have the Andar Aspen in Moss (green) and would like to share a pic or two? I noticed it came back in stock and I’m tempted by how everyone’s liked the turquoise color, but I’ve had my eye on the Moss for a while.

Here is my recipe for Frosty removal:

I have found the safe way to remove the Frosty from your phone without causing any interior frost damage. Just push out the bottom two corners of the case first, then the upper top right corner (not camera corner) and then just peel the case up from the bottom.

I have already damaged the bottom edge of my interior frost on my 2nd Frosty by peeling the camera area and top corner first :( What happens is the edges of the phone dig into the interior frost and cause damage when trying to pry the case off the phone.

The bottom corner first removal seems the safest method to me.

Few people here have turned this thread into the OCD case thread, same questions over and over, wasn't like it last few years.
lol right? I was thinking the same thing. I have the case on my phone to protect my phone, not the other way around. As long as my $1500 device is protected, I’m ok if my $50 plastic square gets scratched.
