What issues did you have with yours?
The first one has a couple of mm gap between the TPU frame and the top of the phone on the upper left side. There were also noticeable color variations on the back. On the second/replacement the TPU around the buttons is very floppy and loose fitting.

Were they easy to work with for the replacement?

Not sure if Caudabe overestimates but I feel confident that my iPhone will survive a chest height drop in the Sheath.

I agree the Apple silicone is the best form and melts in your hands factor in the business hands down. When I slapped on the sily I was like “wow this is how a case should feel”. It’s also light weight. Best buttons in the business but it’s silicone.

However if I was only going by form and melts in your hands factor then the Sheath wouldn’t be my top case.

What Caudabe should do if they can is make an exact copy of the Apple silicone except with their shock lite or whatever texture to replace the silicone.
The closest I’ve experienced to the Apple Silicone in regards to form factor and precision is the Pitaka Pro. It’s a bit sharper on the back edges, but has that same slim, smooth feel that mimics the phone. It’s also manufactured at the same—if not an even higher—level of precision. It is slightly thicker/wider, but is also more protective. I’d suggest you try it out, but it is pricey so may be a no-go. It may also be too slick for you at first, which does improve as it gets used more.

Yes, very. When you submit a warranty claim you have you including pictures or video of the issue which definitely helps speed along the claim. The whole thing from submitting the claim to them shipping me a replacement case was 2 days.

I also need to do a warranty claim for a wireless charging stand I have from them that stopped working. Tying to make a video showing how it doesn't worth while keeping it under 10mb is pretty much impossible unless I can link to a privated Youtube video. It's been broken for weeks now and it's pretty rare I need to charge my phone at my desk. However, the thing cost $70. Even if still functions great as a desk stand, at that price it should still work in the event I do need to charge my phone.

I ordered up my second MagSafe Frosty after returning the first MagSafe version for the non-MagSafe version (all from Amazon). I usually don’t like cases that show the MagSafe ring, but after using the non-MagSafe one for a few days, I decided having MagSafe was just more convenient for me. Also, I think the fact that the ring is black like my phone makes the ring stand out less to me.

I’d already ordered a couple button sets from Phone Rebel (matte black and orange) and they came in earlier this week. I also ordered the matte black camera ring (hat tip to Hooterville for the inspiration).

After receiving the new Frosty yesterday, I installed the matte black camera ring and buttons, but installed only the orange Action Button to mirror my Apple Watch Ultra.

I’m now thinking I may order a set of the titanium buttons, as while I like the matte black ones, they kinda blend in too much. I may go full out mimicking my Ultra and install the titanium buttons, orange action button, and keep the black camera ring (because I like how it goes with the MagSafe ring).

Everyone’s seen this setup, but I’ll post a couple of pictures anyway.

Looks good. I am thinking about ordering the button sets as well. Did you order full button sets or partial? Also did you find the case hard to put on thinking it might scratch the sides?

At the time, they didn’t have the full sets in stock for the matte black, but they did have the button sets and black camera ring separately (which I found weird, but it worked out, so no biggie).

So I ordered one set of matte black buttons, one set of orange buttons, and the matte black camera ring. I think they have most of the full sets available now (or they did when I looked earlier).

Edited to add: I forgot to address your question about putting the case on. Yeah, it’s a super tight fit, but I don’t think you’d ever have to worry about it scratching the phone. Just make sure there’s no foreign debris inside the case when installing it and you’ll be fine.

Damn I'm not an inspiration? 😂

I'm doing frosty today quite similar, but with the natty kit and action orange

Also that natty kit on the clear crystal is such a banger
