I agree, it was confusing to say the least… but at least it saved me 45 buckeroosI sent back both the clear and black crystal for the same button issues. Makes no sense as the gunmetal and other colors seems exactly the same dimensions.
Unfortunately my Pitaka MagEz Pro got a chip in the corner just in my back pocket… must have scraped it on something at work without noticing… pains me to put a blemish on such a nice looking case, but that’s my OCD.. still rocking it, seeing how long I can last with the Aramid before my OCD sends me to the nut house.
Didn’t someone here have the 600D version of the Pro?? If so, who was it so I can look at their pics??
I’ve read on here about other people getting white chips on the Pitaka pro. It’s strange because I have never had that on a MagEZ case and I’ve been using them for the last 3 yearsUnfortunately my Pitaka MagEz Pro got a chip in the corner just in my back pocket… must have scraped it on something at work without noticing… pains me to put a blemish on such a nice looking case, but that’s my OCD.. still rocking it, seeing how long I can last with the Aramid before my OCD sends me to the nut house.

Do you feel like the 600D is more or less fingerprint attracting?? Or the same?
That’s a good point, now that I think of it, not a single one of my MagEz’s have any white chips on them through the years.I’ve read on here about other people getting white chips on the Pitaka pro. Tee mentioned in his review that the Pro is protective but not durable and will show marks if dropped. That’s a good point, now that I think of it, not a single one of my MagEz’s have any white chips on them through the years.
Same. I have been using the MagEZ for years as well. I also ran the Air case. Same there too. That’s a good point, now that I think of it, not a single one of my MagEz’s have any white chips on them through the years.
I guess if you’re hard set on being able to use other buttons, yeah. I’m keeping mine bc despite that, I do really like the case. So, the consensus on the Phone Rebel black crystal is a hard PASS ?
As much as I’ve complained about the MagSafe indent on the current Sheath, recently I‘ve been using it a bit as well. The things I appreciate about it are the same as always: great fit and grip along with best of class scuff and fingerprint resistance.Been using the revised Sheath for a little bit and I'm coming around to liking it. I gave the volume and Action buttons a stretch by pushing them in further than they go when installed and pushing them out from inside and they are now much better. I have to get the right light and angle to see the MagSafe indent so not really an issue.
The reason I gave it another go was because of the new red, my favourite case from the 14 Pro Max was the crimson red Sheath. LOVED that case!
Ordered the garnet red and hopefully I can then stop buying damn cases, lol.
Going to have to sell a few I won't use I reckon.
lol havent got mine yet. Will decide once i get it if i like it or not.So, the consensus on the Phone Rebel black crystal is a hard PASS ?
Yeah i actually like the stock buttons. I mean it costs a lot to ship just the button kits here to Canada so I don’t think it is worth it for me.I guess if you’re hard set on being able to use other buttons, yeah. I’m keeping mine bc despite that, I do really like the case.
Yeah, Phone Rebel really needs to fix their shipping rates for outside the US. A single button set costs me $23 in my currency to ship. A case + button set makes shipping $33. And this is just the normal shipping that takes 7~14 days.Yeah i actually like the stock buttons. Yeah it cost the same thing here for shipping in Canada. if it is the case it is $21 if you add buttons it goes up to 31 dollars which is ridiculous. Yeah i saw it is just normal shipping if you want expedited it is even more lol. Did you order anything yet?Yeah, Phone Rebel really needs to fix their shipping rates for outside the US. Not yet. I'm waiting for someone to show some Gen 5 Frosted kit combinations that I'm interested in before ordering.Yeah it cost the same thing here for shipping in Canada. if it is the case it is $21 if you add buttons it goes up to 31 dollars which is ridiculous. Oh ok I think there are a few people on here that can show you their configurations. Maybe @Hooterville or @thatappleguytoday can show you their configurations. Not yet. I'm waiting for someone to show some Gen 5 Frosted kit combinations that I'm interested in before ordering.
I'm curious how a Natty/White titanium phone looks with the Frosted + Blue Titanium kit.
Also, I heard you could use the Gen-4 buttons on the Gen-5 and I'm interested in getting the purple buttons as well.
It's the same.Do you feel like the 600D is more or less fingerprint attracting?? Or the same?
I don't remember if they bought the Blue Titanium kits though. I wish there was a Navy Blue Frosted Case to match with the blue kit. Then I could just buy the regular black one along with it.Oh ok I think there are a few people on here that can show you their configurations.
