Agreed!

I can't seem to find a grippy case that offers good protection. As the 15 Pro Max is a big phone, you need a case that offers good grip and comfortability to deal with with the size. I have tried the Mous Limitless, Caudabe Sheath, Phone Rebel Frosty and the Ryan London. Debating if I should order the Nomad Sport.
Yea I hear you. That’s what I have a P and not a PM.

It's soo hard to find the right case for the 15 Pro Max.

I have tried the Caudabe Sheath, Phone Rebel Frosty, Mous Limitless and the Ryan London leather case.

I find the Phone Rebel frosty too slippery, and the I don't really like the feel of the Sheath anymore. At first I liked it, but to me it feels like rough sand paper.

I found the Mous Limitless case to have sharp edges and not comfortable to hold for long periods.

I want to try the Pitaka Pro but I have heard the case is slippery and has sharp edges as well.
Running out of options now.
Get a black symmetry, your welcome 😀

I've looked at these.

They look fairly chunky in videos considering they're marketed as a thin case?

WHat are your thoughts?
It feels a bit wide to me on the 15PM, not deep though. My copy is also a little loose around the bottom cutouts. Otherwise it’s a nice case.

Day 2 with the Gripmunk (my first impressions are above) …this morning I was having second thoughts if I enjoy the feel. Starting to think the grip is annoying on the bottom - they should probably have left that part smooth.

As fate would have it - walk into Target and see the Ottorbox Symmetry Ultrafine MagSafe for 15pm on clearance, sealed box - $15. Pick it up so here are first impressions vs Gripmunk:

MagSafe- seems slightly weaker than Gripmunk but enough for my Belkin stand (maybe about as strong as the Apple silicone - but yeah not too scientific) - MagSafe ring appeared when attaching to the charger.

Buttons - better than Gripmunk - especially the action button which is really great- maybe even better than the Apple silicone.

Fit - better than the Gripmunk - no squeaks yet which I had a few in the past 24 hours with the Gripmunk

Feel - too soon to tell if I’ll prefer the Ottorbox over the Gripmunk but it’s more conventional - no worries like the Gripmunk which i think may be irritating with long term use on the pinky (again these are early impressions)

Protection - I’m guessing the Ottorbox is more protective

I really like what Smartish did with the Gripmunk but it’s not as refined as the Ottorbox - at least with my limited experience so far.

do you mostly hold your phone from the sides or resting the back on your hand? where do you want the grippy-ness?

Would you say it’s a fairly chunky case given it’s meant to be slim?

The Gripmunk is a good case for $20 but in sometimes noticeable ways you can tell it's a cheap case. It just lacks the refinement and/or fit an finish of more expensive cases. Spending a few dollars more on a Spigen case get's a lot more quality for not much more money. Albeit a very different feel in hand.

Ottorbox does feel a bit chunky compared to the Gripmunk. Confident other cases out there have a much thinner feel (Pitaka comes to mind - but I haven’t tried any ultra slim cases yet)

I want the grip at the back, not the sides. The Pro Max is already an awkward phone and I don't have big hands so feel of the case is important to me. I still have not found a great feeling case yet.

I got an Apple Finewoven case when I bought my IPhone 15 Pro at release. Wish I hadn’t. Looked terrible in no time and provides no useful drop protection. I got an Otterbox Defender and it’s perfect. Easy grip, great fit, goes in my pocket and clearly vastly better drop protection. I’ve had Otterbox cases with previous phones and should have got one at the outset for this phone. I’m going to pick up a second one and store it until this one wears out.

It’s all I use only case I have kept.
Buttons excellent, good sides grip, easy on the pinky, no smudges or c-ring mark on the back, can take wet/sweaty hands, good magsafe.
No sag on mine had a bit on bottom when I got it but came good after being on the phone for a few weeks.

The Pitaka Pro is a beautiful case, but it is not grippy, has sharp edges as you mentioned, and it is the worst fingerprint magnet I’ve encountered this year.
I agree 110. It’s a very well made case but it’s boxy with sharp edges. If they chamfered would be 110% winner.

I noticed the Sheath for the S24U looks as if it has floating buttons. I have to wonder if this is a harbinger of what we have to look forward to in the next iteration of the Sheath for iPhone.

Bandwerk is selling a $205 Titanium case. Looks like leather with a Titanium frame.

What’s the market for a $205 iPhone case?

Hi all,

My brother saw how well my Phone Rebel Clear Black held up and now he is considering a full clear case from Phone Rebel for his iPhone 15 Pro Max.

However, the Clear Black pushes off my WSKEN screen protector. Do you guys have the same issue with the normal clear case?

I'd guess a very small one compared to also small $105 aluminum version. I wished I liked the aluminum one more but it was just way too heavy and uncomfortable to hold.

I should send them an email to find out if they've updated the Performance case to have a button instead of a cutout. During the return process for my Classic Case they said it was in the pipeline but didn't say when. With the Ti case coming out it could be soon if their updating their product line(s) for Spring.

A lot of people here have complained about cases in the $60-$100 price range, so my assumption would be close to none.

Son of a gun that’s the color combo I want. But god is that case too wide to comfortably use for more than 2 minutes

I’m just waiting for the “case available” email to order for my S24 Ultra, so I’ll post about it if they’re indeed floating buttons.

The updated Sheath for my S23 Ultra was by far my favorite case, so I’m hoping they hurry up and bring the one for the S24 Ultra.
