We're suddenly getting some early spring weather here in NorCal so the Rugged is back in service for the impending outdoor activities. It‘s really such a great case for its intended purpose.

Its aramid can’t help the greasy fingerprints. That’s why I don’t do aramid. Lots say “wipes off easily”. But for me that’s a PIA.
Yeah, I agree; this may be my last year for aramid. You’d think they could figure out a surface treatment/texture to prevent fingerprints like they’ve done with TPU and PET, but no one has managed it yet.

I’d been using an ESR case (clear back, black sides, “stash case” being a kickstand around the camera as a protector) on my iPhone 15 Pro since launch day—and I absolutely believe their cases are quality and at a good price, but I got a Suti Phoneback as a Valentine’s gift from my SO.

So far, I actually really like the Phoneback; I‘m a bit nervous about the screen and titanium frame, but I thoroughly enjoy having a slimmer profile and reclaiming some of the space in my hand that is being taken away by these phones becoming increasingly big. The silicone feels premium and I enjoy the warm grey with the natural titanium. It’s a good “no-case” case.

Very impressed with Benks this year. The ArmorAir and ArmorPro are two of the best aramid cases I’ve used and this MagClap Mist is yet another fantastic case, especially considering the £15.99 price tag.

I have the Aulofe case from Amazon, which is similar, but you can tell the quality of this Benks is better. From the metal buttons to the camera ring. It’s got a slightly slimmer profile as well, which is very much welcomed.

Is the back frosted or a soft touch finish that shows fingerprints/smudges?

I like this, especially the silver metal camera surround. How are the buttons?

Amazing, probably the best thing about the case. I wasn’t expecting them to be metal and they’re very clicky. The best buttons on this type of case I’ve used, without a doubt.

Have they improved the oversized bottom cutouts or are they still the same as the Nomad cutouts?

Nope. Same crappy, symmetrical cutouts with mounting points for lanyards nobody uses or asked for.

I may have missed it, but has anyone ever noticed that Nomad, Moment, Peak Design, and maybe one other company all use the exact same design for their bottom cutouts? So they’re what, using the same designer? All owned by the same company/person?

Their cases share so many design cues, they have to come out of the same factory.

I wish they’d listen to their customers and stop with the fat bottoms and symmetrical cutouts. And we know they can do it because the Nomad Sport case doesn’t have the fat bottom (but still has the stupid cutouts).

I agree, these cases must all come out of the same factory; they appear to share identical underlying PC frames.

I want the grip at the back, not the sides. The Pro Max is already an awkward phone and I don't have big hands so feel of the case is important to me. I still have not found a great feeling case yet.
Have you tried a good leather case? The grip on my Bullstrap is fantastic, sides and back. It’s also a great feeling (and smelling) case.
