It's weird because I've seen people rant and rave about how great their Apple leather cases are. There's a guy in another thread right now saying he ordered saddle brown leather again for his Max because he loved how his previous one 'aged' so nicely.
I had saddle brown leather before and it was nasty looking after a couple of months. Had to bin it as it looked dirty which isn't really appropriate at work. Anyway, I got an olive silicone instead which still looks new after maybe 7/8 months now. My other half has kept his blue Apple leather case for over a year and it's super tatty looking - scratches dug out over the back of it and it looks like the top layer is peeling off, like some fake or cheap high street leather would, although he's a lot harder on his so maybe it's not entirely fair.
Not sure how to reconcile our leather experiences with other peoples, but anyway, I agree with you about Apple's leather cases, they just haven't held up well for us. Much prefer silicone. Just a shame they don't offer that lovely green colour in it. Maybe they'll add it later in the season.

Thanks for trying though. It would be nicer of me to get that for $1 than ‘borrow’ a case from BB until one I can live with comes out.
My ideal case looks like the Speck Presidio Mount. It has two built in magnets for the Scosche magicmount system. $50 is a steep price though.

How easy are they to get on/off. I may get one to use mostly for my commutes on the subway and take it off at home.

I was thinking about the Spigen Liquid Crystal but it's not available in black for the XR as it is for the X.
The Liquid Air looks like a good option but I don't like the pattern on the back. I like smooth looking backs.

I got this clear case on Amazon by ESR for my iPhone Xs Max. I have the same one for my iPhone X. It's the only one I have seen with micro dots on the inside that prevent the rainbow affect you get with other clear cases.

I've been looking at this one, because unlike the spigen one with pink edges that look really pale so that the pink will get lost on a SG phone... the ESR one looks like the color is fuller... so will stand out more. But I was worried about the quality, as I've not heard of ESR or have not seen reviews for them.... So I assume, since you are rebuying that you've been happy and the case has held up well?
do you, by chance, use one of their glass screen protectors? if you do, do you like them? work well? no bubbles?
