Tonight's thoughts; Missing the Solid Suit (even though I only sent it back on Thursday). Not sure I like the Otterbox (might be going back). Currently have the Leather Case Mate on which I'm liking more and more....
[doublepost=1541271337][/doublepost]Anyone tried this case?

Where do you get the buttons? Are you still using the mate black one?

I wasn’t using it until someone asked about the difference between it and the leather case. Already setup the return.....Yes it’s the matte black. And do you mean purchasing separate different color buttons? You can search on Rhinoshield’s site to find buttons. Or create a case design and add the extra buttons to your cart. Then you can remove the case if you don’t want it.

For those that like super slim cases.

Here are my impressions of tozo, totallee, totallee leather, and caudabe veil XT. The sheath is en route. All have some sort of injection molding evidence but some feel more quality than others.

They are all very, very similar with most differences being in color, grip/finish, refinement.

The tozo smoke is a brownish gray smoke case and is the second most refined. If you prefer a good amount of the phone to be seen through the case.

The totallee is really dark smoke, it is not very refined with obvious injection molding lines and creases on the whole case.

The totallee leather is the least refined and the most expensive. The leather is a piece of leather glued in the back of a small recess in the back of a slim case. There are many sharp edges where the leather is “inlayed” as well as the edges around the screen.

The caudabe is the most refined, best grip from a slightly speckled texture and is solid black. It will be my daily case until the sheath arrives.

Hard to say. Probably double the bulk. I’ll get you a picture in just a few minutes.

Okay maybe not double. But it feels twice as bulky. But I don’t find it overly bulky. Hopefully that makes sense.

That’s not too bad! I don’t mind much if the phone is thicker, but being wider is my main concern... does it add more width? Thanks man!

Has anyone had the Mous case? I really like the look of the leather one. A bit expensive mind...

Does anyone think cleaning the Caudabe Sheath with water and mild soap would damage the case? That's what I did for over a year for a Spigen Liquid Armor and it worked great.

I asked Caudabe customer service, but they did not reply.

Not seeing one in person, I too am kind of hit or miss on mous. I like all of it’s features, but don’t really care for the squared off look.

I really want to see one and hand first

I think that TPU would be just fine.

Thanks for this highertech saved me a lot of time and money. I was thinking that totallee leather case wouldn't be that good because it doesn't even look good. I am a little surprised that you said the totallee is more refined than the tozo case. Totallee is well known to be the best case when it comes to thin ness. But if you say caudabe is the best in the bunch than I might have to just go for the Pitaka because the caudabe I had for the plus was real slick and like a wet bar of soap.

I think you maybe mis-spoke. But the totallee was less refined than tozo in my example. Especially the leather one. I also had a pitaka I sent back. But it was a fingerprint magnet with a couple manufacturers flaws. I also had caudabe cases in the past that were similar to the current totallee case. The solid black one I have has a different finish and I’m looking forward to the sheath for grip.

Me too. Love my black symmetry.

STOP! I got my Symmetry today. Yes, I like it but it's so hard to get off! Had the Solid Suit and although I had a problem with the buttons, I loved the simple case and protection.

Why do you love the symmetry so much? (I want to "love" it!)

Much more grip than the SlipperySuit.
The back is slick but the rubber makes for decent grip.

All Symmetry cases are not created equal. The red port color one I have is perfect. Easy to get on, easy to get off and just fits perfect.

The black one I have is a tight mother to get on and off and has some rubber bulge by the power and volume buttons.

I’ve also had the yellow and the green one both tight like the black.

After using my table grinder/wire wheel brush on the sides and then a file to smooth the lip on the bottom. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol then Dawn dish soap, rinsed with hot water, dried it with a hair dryer didn’t harm it it all.

I think you and I are looking for the same case, but neither of us has found it yet. I ordered the Sheath as well (although I accidentally ordered it for the Xs, so hopefully their customer service is good because I emailed them and asked them to change it). I was thinking about ordering a case from ESR depending on whether or not I like the Sheath.

Here’s some pics of the Case Mate leather case.

I considered this case, but the camera cutout bugs the heck out of me. Is it a good quality leather?
