Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

Much more grip than the SlipperySuit.
The back is slick but the rubber makes for decent grip.

All Symmetry cases are not created equal. The red port color one I have is perfect. Easy to get on, easy to get off and just fits perfect.

The black one I have is a tight mother to get on and off and has some rubber bulge by the power and volume buttons.

I’ve also had the yellow and the green one both tight like the black.

Man. Quality control sounds really poor. I’d want to go green or black. Buttons nice and clicky on all of them?

I think you and I are looking for the same case, but neither of us has found it yet. I ordered the Sheath as well (although I accidentally ordered it for the Xs, so hopefully their customer service is good because I emailed them and asked them to change it). I was thinking about ordering a case from ESR depending on whether or not I like the Sheath.

As good as the Apple leather cases. I agree, the camera cut out bugs me too.

The buttons on the new/thinner Symmetry cases are nice but are very flush with the sides of the case.
Sometimes hard to find because they are so flush.

I really don’t know which one I like the most? I love the all carbon fiber but that logo sticks out a lot. And I really like the alcantera leather with slim carbon fiber and love the all carbon one.

Really just either of the two I posted pictures of. I think I’ve ruled out the carbon fiber one do the logo stand out

Broke down and ordered one with their early black Friday sale deal. Got the Armor for the Max for $32.99

After using my table grinder/wire wheel brush on the sides and then a file to smooth the lip on the bottom. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol then Dawn dish soap, rinsed with hot water, dried it with a hair dryer didn’t harm it it all.

Have you put the grinder to the SlipperySuit yet?

Already purchased a Speck Presidio Grip for the Max. Using it now for the X and I love it.

Do you have the Gold Max? Have you removed the Speck case and noticed the impactium design leave marks on the gold stainless band? It did on mine so I stopped using it. Went for the Apple silicone now.

Awesome. Armor series. I can’t find one review besides their site specifically on the armor series. All YouTube reviews appear to be the older models that barely clip on. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.

Surprisingly, it’s the diztronic. Thin, light, great buttons and decent grip. It’s too lose though and has fingerprints that are hard to wipe off. I can tell the material is cheap. That being said it has kept me away from my solid suit and my apple leather. I’m fully expecting the Sheath to takeover as my number 1. It’s basically the diztronic with upgraded materials.

Returned the Evutec Aer Karbon because the home button on the case felt like apple sauce. Should have the brushed steel slippery suit today.... not sure what case I want anymore lol

Someone here said caudabe customer service told them they would replace their sheath with one that has the asymmetrical cutouts of the XS. That’s the only change I believe.

the mous is grippy ?

The carbon fiber one I have has a slight texture to it on the sides, but I wouldn't say grippy. It's not totally slick either. It seems like, just enough.
