Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

Very interested in trying that one. I just upgraded to XS and wife inherited my current favorite,Speck Presidio Grip,I just put on the X I had gotten only a week prior ! Quickest upgrade to another Iphone I ever had! Anyway... I'm interested in your offer.

Sorry they torched you! Things have gotten weird this year with Caudabe. From the Synthesis black hole to all the weird reporting like yours of issues and now XS users getting scratched Cases. It’s a shame they are dissolving their reputation. Hell even @THE JUICEMAN is resorting to using a Loopy from an older IPhone model to get by. I feel bad for the way they treated you everyone was pumped on the Sheath and now sprinting in different directions. I got concerned when I got the Lucid Clear I’m going to send you pictures it’s ridiculous what that case is and plain silly. I was waiting for the XS Max Synthesis now I’m out and gave up not worth it
Correct. You have to use one or the other if you only get 1 case. Cant stack them. I bought 2 and 2 ac mounts.
Sorry to hear about your mishaps with Cauadabe. I’m losing patience with them too.
My synthesis arrived and it had scratches right out of the box. I’ve emailed caudabe to see if this case is scratch prone. Clearly it shouldn’t ship scratched. Hope I don’t have to take forever to get a response.
It feels like it might have a little more cushion than the Sheat h but certainly not as much as the Symmetry which was what I was also considering aa a compromise between the Sheath and the presidio grip.
Back is very slick and sides are pretty grippy but not as good as Presidio grip. Maybe comparable to Sheath but different due to design.
Torn on what to as I wait on caudabe’s response.
I do think the stealth gray looks good on my silver XS.
Not sure if I should just RMA and pay the shipping cost to return it to them.
Something isn’t right as I had the X Synthesis and beat it to hell and never had a scratch like that picture. I think they switched manufacturing and maybe changed design to cheaper material or something. Something is fishy with them this year
The black Sheath they sent me is perfect.
That’s why I emailed them before ordering the blue & green.
I like the wood and the leather. I don’t really like the bamboo because of the color. I tried it out on a Buy 1 get 1 deal and should have just got the carbon.
The Mous cases in general are pretty quirky. With the shallow sides and thick too and bottom. They are neither slippery or good grip. The buttons are very clicky but take a little force to use.
That said I used the Mous cases for nearly 6 months straight until I caught the sickness again when I bought the XS.
Lol I just got bored. My Sheath is almost perfect as well. It’s still a great case. I think once my finger was reunited with the loop it just couldn’t stay away. Today my daughter was jumping on me abusing me as usual...but my phone felt 100% safe. Also, I did some walking today after work. I had my loopy on and had no worries.
As long as you’re happy that’s all that matters! I was just entertained that the toughest one of a few Case heads I knew was rocking a different modeled case for a few
I don't think it does. I don't have the feature turned on as I use "tap to wake" anyway.
Caudabe screwed me with 2 Sheath cases. Jessica from Caudabe through emails insured me that the blue & green Sheath cases for the Max would have the correct asymmetrical cutouts.
After waiting a month of Sundays for them to arrive they came with the symmetrical cutouts from last years iPhone X.
I don't want this crap for free.
Buyer beware, Jessica's word is worthless.
She was also the person who assured me that the camo had the new cut-outs.
Damn RhinoShield. I just received an email of christmas bundles. When I coupled my lifetime discount code (from an earlier issue (dating back to the 6s+) I got a leather solid suit and a crash guard for my max for $42 total shipped.

Yeah I know... I don't want a Rhinoshield case.... but 2 for $42...makes me want something I don't want.
exactly....I didnt want it either, but I figure worst case scenario I will use eBay to make some money back
I bought the Otterbox Strada in black for the Xs Max and must say that it's my personal "case end game". This is the best case I've ever had, feels great, is sturdy, great drop protection, quality materials used, overall this is my winner.
I love the idea of the Strada as I have an access card for work that would go in the case, I just think I would hate the flap Everytime I want to use the phone or take a picture.

More than anything else I've decided that customer service is the number one factor for me. No matter how good a product, if a company has poor CS I'm not buying from them. J
ust a warning, that's the main reason I'll never buy a Mous. I've bought from them twice, both a few years apart and both times returning for a refund was a struggle. Also, if you didn't like the solidsuit I don't think you'll like the Mous, IMO it's basically an inferior SS.
So far Otterbox and Rhinoshield have been the best, easiest returns for me. Otterbox even sends you a prepaid label so all you do is print and ship.
I'd avoid Switcheasy completely, it's been 4 days since I emailed them asking to return an unused case and still no anwer, plus there's no phone number so you cannot call them.
Once I get my Mujjo I'll post pictures of all the cases I currently have, it's too many but it's less than I ended up with for the 7+.
Yesterday morning in the car after taking pictures of the Loopy with my car phone mount, I was trying to do the finger phone flipping like how I saw MobileReviewEh did..I almost flipped it once wrong and almost launched my phone.
But that was me messing around.

Lol! I do that sometimes too but luckily never threw my phone. I think we should stop it.
Welp I’m returning Midget Vader to BB today. I love my new Element cases I highly doubt I’d use Midget Vader so it would end up gathering dust. It’s a wonderful case I really enjoyed it allot. Will be nice getting the 60 bucks back
