I always get the Apple leather cases. Several of my phones have survived drops in those leather cases. I'm a true believer. Plus they are really slick looking.

im going to get the rhinoshield crashguard bumper again like I've got the last 2 years, but they aren't even up for preorder yet. I've had the spigen too and it says it won't ship for 10 business days...

I ordered an Apple leather case in Cape Cod Blue from Best Buy for the Xs Max, along with a screen protector for it. I was also considering the Forest Green case, but went with the CC Blue instead. I ordered a second case for it from Casetify (Star Wars themed one).
I always like the Apple Cases, my go to was the Silicone because it has grip.,( USUALLY it's a black case, I did have a white one for my 6+ but rarely used it. ) I have a few 3rd party ones.
I did get the Midnight Blue Apple leather in December, at first it was slippery but after breaking it in it was fine. However it did get a few drops of water on the back about a month ago, it almost looked like acid ate through the darn thing. (I know water and leather do not mix) But, it really messed up the case, blue dye came off all over.
As for the XS Plus, I would like to try a leather case again. That forrest green is different, not bad. Saddle Brown would be new to me, always liked that one also.
i HOPE Apple store has them by next Thursday - along with screen protector. I like to have my accessories before the phone arrives.

Honestly, forest green is probably my least favorite color in existence, but I gotta admit... it looks freakin' sweet with the gold. Gotta give it to 'em.

Same here! Ive always gone with the Saddle Brown leather case whenever id get a new phone. It ages really well and my phone has survived drops in them as well. Not sure if I should go Saddle again or be a rebel and get a different color

The Saddle Brown was always my go to, but thinking of getting a different color this time. The good thing about the Saddle Brown is that whenever cuffs or water droplets fall on the case, it'll give it a lot of character. No dyes or nasty looking stains. It just makes it look aged. $13 from Amazon with a delivery date of Monday.
I got the Saddle Brown Apple Leather case for my X last year and absolutely love it. It’s turned into a dark brown with a kind of worn in baseball mitt look, which I really like. I’ll probably get one again but I’ve also ordered the Spigen clear case to show off the color for a little while too.
