Does anyone have the Otterbox Statement or Traction series that the Apple store sells? I’m liking the looks and grip of the Traction, but I wanted some reviews. I picked up my phone today (that gold is so much prettier in person)and I’ll be heading back tomorrow to get a case.

Poor case, I returned mine. Let’s to much dust in via the camera.

Where are you located??
I already have the MagMount Qi for the car so could be tempted with the case for the XS Max....

I am in Raleigh, NC. How do you like the Magmount Qi? Are you also interested in their screen protector?

Ah, Im in the UK so postage may be too much.
Pitaka sent me the MagMount Qi and the MagCase for iPhone X for review. They've said they are sending me the XS Max case, but haven't received it yet - I was just getting a little impatient! lol

I had the Pitaka case (can't remember the name) for my iPhone X. Loved the case but found it smudged a bit on the back and I was always wiping it clean. Which Pitaka case do you recommend? (I have the iPhone XS Max)

Leather case is in. Seems much thinner than the silicone. And the buttons aren’t as responsive as years in the past so that’s kind of a bummer. Really nice feeling case though. I take care of my phones but I’m still worried about the inevitable drop and if these Apple cases will help at all.

I'm really surprised there haven't been many mentions of X-doria in this thread, I searched and only found it 3 times. Their defense case looks pretty nice for a clear-back case and it looks like they have a new version called the ultra. I'm tempted to buy one of them but haven't read any feedback about them. I had the old version of the defense Lux and it was only ok, the buttons weren't great and it had a full width metal band that interfered with reception. I've read that those issues are fixed but I'm hesitant. Any Xdoria users here?

Definitely picking up my go to case, the Caudabe Sheath. Great little case. Really thin but takes a beating. The one on my X still looks like new even though I've put it through the ringer in the past half year.

Put it through the ringer...lots of drops? I think about to order one.

Edit: I shouldn’t say lots of drops. But did you have a few drops that it survived? They claim 6.6ft of drop protection. Seems crazy with how thin it is. Thanks.

Will the Claudabe Sheath X fit the Xs? I really want the red case but it’s not available for the Xs.

No none of Caudabe's X cases fit the XS due to the camera shifting slightly. I ordered the Sheath X thinking it wouldn't be an issue but it won't work.

I had the Sheath for my 6S the case after nearly 3 years looked worn but the phone was still flawless even after drops etc.

Take the case off and work the buttons a bit. They “soften” up and become very responsive.

I bought two different cases.

This one because its not bulky and would deliver by launch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GTCJLW1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have this Spigen one and I like how it allows the gold back and edge to show. I don't care that the speaker cutouts are from the X - at least they're symmetrical.

and this one because it's super cute:

Just got my Max and started using my catalyst impact. Very nice case, It's solid, looks good imo and the buttons are excellent. The only issues are the clear back and the camera protection. There’s just a very, very small lip and I question how well a drop will protect the glass back and camera. I haven’t decided but I may send it back and try something else. As much as I don’t want to spend $60 I might give in and buy a Mous.

Rifht now besides my speck grip, I have been using the caseology legion. It is excellent and better than I thought considering it cost me $1.50

I see you switch cases a lot :)

I pulled the trigger on the Caudabe Sheath. Looking forward to trying it out again. Had one last year but for some reason didn’t keep it.

I just looked that up, nice looking. How’d you get it for $1.50??

There was a Facebook post either from Caseology or some deal site that had coupons for some of their new cases. Clicking on the case you wanted would generate a coupon code to work on Amazon. It was posted on Macrumors a couple of times and kept getting removed. I luckily caught it before it was removed and got a Caseology Vault for 1.60, which more than exceeded my expectations. My best description of the Caseology Vault would be, if the Silk BaseGrip case and the Caudabe Sheath had a baby.
