can't wait for the review. Amazon? i realized there are 10% coupon codes if one goes straight from Pitaka, but Amazon Prime would be faster and potentially easier for a return.

I had another catch and release case today. I got an x-Doria defense clear today and it’s not bad but not great. I’m sending it back for a few reasons, the buttons aren’t very good (mushy and a little hard to press) and the sides pull away from the phone fairly easily. On the plus side it’s easy to hold and looks nice.

I am really interested in the X doria defense lux. Although some reviews say it’s slippery.
The buttons are mighty fine and tactile .
My local Walmart has the clear defense with iridium colored band in stock in store. Maybe go fondle it lol
Gotta say...bodyguardz makes a hell of a case too. I took the pitaka off for a little bit and put the shock on. 10 feet of drop protection, very firm to the phone and ridges on the edge for grip. Imo it’s everything the solid suit should be
Pitaka first impressions:
Extremely thin and light
Buttons are really good but not as great as speck. Perfectly acceptable though. Just a smidge tougher than I would like but overall pretty good.
Case has plenty of grip. Sides are crazy grippy and back is medium grippy. But in and out of pockets no problem.
You can and can’t see fingerprints at the same time. More like small smudges.
The carbon fiber looks fantastic.
The case feels solid over all and very well put together.
Cut outs are perfect.
The bumpers along the corners seem great for protection and don’t look as bad as I thought in person.
Camera cutout is deep.
Mute switch is fine.
The BEST feature is how they lowered the lip for the gestures! On the side and the bottom. I love that so much.

The main question is, where are the pictures? Will you be returning this one in a week or is it a keeper?
Where did the button go for uploading pics via tapatalk? I guess I can post them online somewhere and then link them? I currently have zero complaints but give me a day or two before I answer if it’s a keeper. First impressions are that it’s definitely a keeper.
I have this color as well. Really like it. Got lots of compliments. Not my daily driver though.

I have the plain Defense in clear/white. Had it for my 7+ as well. Really like it for when I need more protection. Looks and feels good and is not slippery. Not too bulky in hand either.

It’s the VSR single fit case in grey. I don’t recommend it. The lip in non existent and the bottom cutouts are trash.
Definitely more black than grey. Not a deep black though. More of a matte or faded black.
Mine will be here on Friday. The SlipperySuit is growing on me. I want the leather one also.
