Which case will you be getting for your new XS/XS Max? [MERGED]

I dont want to ruin the mag pro for you but have you squeezed the sides either near the top or the bottom? On mine I thought it fit fine at first but when I picked it up and started holding it the corners lifted. I can push the corners down and it looks fine again but putting the phone in my pocket and walking up and down a flight of stairs the corners lifted again.

Yes, the lightning port cutout is rather small. You can see how tight my rubber port plug is in there. I only wireless charge so that's not a problem for me. Another thing is that the case offers little to nothing in the way of protection for a face down drop. Just starting to play with it now.

No, mine seems fine. I've squished, pushed and compressed the sides/edges and everything seems fine so far.
The minute it messes with my glass protector, I'll be done with it. :eek:

Stopped into a random sprint store on the way home. Put on a spigen slim armor. It surprised me. Very thin and light. Great grip. Good buttons and the all blacked out look is right up my alley. The kick stand is nice since I watch so much content on here.

Cons are the volume buttons feel like one big button (very responsive though) and the back shows finger prints. Also I could do without the Apple logo cutout.

I’m impressed though so I’ll give it a few days.

Is there a clear cover over the logo?

No but I did find an unexpected benefit with the logo cut out. It makes this giant phone easier to use one handed. I can put my index in the cut out and that allows me to get my thumb to the top really easily.

Is that because you are using a screen protector so the slimmer side and bottom bezels are lower?

I was tempted to try the Pitaka Magcase Pro because of the reduced bezels on the sides and bottom, but I just can't get over the design. I'm sure the materials are high quality, but that design...the inlay/photo frame aramid look, the corner bumpers, it just doesn't flow. Then again, I'm also not a fan of the UAG design language either, as I find it trying to do too much.

Has anyone tried both the new Evutec Aer and the Magcase Pro to compare?

I reached out directly directly via FaceBook and then email .(ordered on amazon.com) I got the case this morning via UPS and in the UPS parking lot I tried to put the case on but it was popping up my icarez 2.5d protector . [Redacted]

This! I posted about my experience with the Sheath last year with my X. I dropped it once & my glass screen protector chipped & cracked. So I switched to a different case. A couple months later, I gave the Sheath another shot. It was on my X since, until I upgraded to the XS Max. Dropped it a few more times with no issues. So maybe that first drop was just a freak accident. I like the Sheath so much that I went naked with my XS Max for about a week until my case came in, which is something I never do! The quality, fit, & feel is unmatched when it comes to such a slim case.

What type of screen protector are you using? Is it 2.5 or 3D?

I like everything about Evutec... but Evutec is not making specific case for iPhone Xs (they are selling last year case as suitable for iPhone X/Xs model) So I have to adjust camera cutout on my last year (favourite) case to fit my new iPhone Xs... with Dremel

Somebody measured/ compared X and Xs camera bump size:
“iPhone Xs has a camera bump that is slightly larger compared to its predecessor. It measures 25.5mm by 11.27mm, versus the iPhone X whose camera measures 24.13mm by 11.26mm.”

Even “Dremeled” Evutec is my favourite case.
