It’s actually a very hard plastic inside. Just like the symmetry

That's disappointing. It looks glossy and matte inside so I assumed the interior was like Spigen TPU case. On the Q&A on the Pitaka page, they indicated the interior was TPU: "A: Hi the case inside use TPU instead :)"

So are you still returning it after putting it back on?

Do you think that due to the release of the iphone XR we'll see new color cases or a clear case for XS or XS Max?

I was hoping for this, but I don’t think Apple will release anything new for now.
Shame! I got excited for the update on the apple store and thought they could release some new colors, I was expecting something new before buying the nectarine color. ☹️

Anyone get the mythical Caudabe Synthesis for the XS Max in either color that can post a picture? It’s on perpetual sold out status so trying to decide if it’s worth the wait or not? Let me know and thanks

Yep. It’s not comfortable for me to hold.

I had it for my 7+and liked it....now with 25% off site wide, it is still out of stock

Is my SlipperySuit peeling after only one removal ?
I put my phone in the case once and removed it once and I see some funny looking areas on the inside bottom lower corners.

This case is one hard mother to remove from the phone.

Is this the start of the "Peeling" that everyone was talking about?

thats always the concern....the materials seem to separate.

I really want to love that case, but between this issue and the lack of grip, I just can't

Unfortunately, that looks like what my case looked like after one remove... After a few it started to peel. I hope that I am wrong of course, because you seem to like the case a lot.

Don't like it as much after realizing that I need a crow bar to get the phone out.

Yup, that's the peeling in the beginning stages. It'll get worse if you keep removing and inserting the phone.

Removing the SolidSuit is a total pain in the ass. I'm pretty sure I slightly bent my X when I was trying to decide if I wanted to keep it or return it. I heard their CrashGuard for the X was extremely hard to remove too. Another negative on the SolidSuit is the weight...it's a hefty case and it's slippery to boot.

I've taken my phone out of the solidsuit a few times and haven't seen any damage yet. The secret to getting it out is popping it out from the camera corner first and then the opposite top corner. As for the peeling, this newest case is built a lot differently from the previous solidsuit and playproof case's I've had. The last versions were a little like the Otterbox with a clear line between the rubber and plastic. This version is plastic all the way to the phone so I don't see where it would be able to start peeling, other than maybe the back section?

I have the pitaka coming today, has anybody found whether it actually works with a 3d screen protector or not? The one poster said it didn't but hasn't been back to explain.

I've fully acknowledged that I have an issue, I also bought a Bodyguardz yesterday. If you sign up (for free) to their subscriber list you get an automatic 20% discount! Plus their screen protectors are free for life. I couldn't resist so I bought a pure 2 screen protector and their clear back Ace Pro case. Maybe it'll be sent back, maybe it'll be a keeper.

Last night while playing Pool, I showed my modified Sheath case to one of the player's on our team. Then it got passed around to not only our team but the other team...Now a couple of them want me to do the same thing to the case's they are planning on ordering after seeing how thin & grippy mine was!... What have I gotten myself into??...LOL!
