Can anyone confirm if the material of the SolidSuit is the same as the material of the SolidSuit for X? I really liked the SolidSuit, except the material quality was rubbish (peeling and becoming loose). So if the material improved, I will give it another try!

EDIT: I posted this and the reply above this one appeared...

As a multiple case solidsuit/playproof user I have to say I've never experienced the fit issues. Also the newest xs cases do use real carbon fiber (the older versions used a carbon look-alike) I think for the price they are one of the best cases out there.

The older versions did have peeling but the new material the xs versions are made from seem solid and I don't see any way they will peel but I guess only time will tell.
I am 100% sure the fit loosened up over time. AE14 did have the same issue with the fit, so he can verify. However, if the materials changed, I might buy it again!

I just checked the RhinoShield website and it seems like the carbon fiber is still fake... It says "Carbon Fiber – Textured film with carbon fiber finish" just like the X version.

EDIT: They even say the material of the bumper is the same, so I don't trust the quality.

I tried the recent solid suit in Brushed steel and returned it. The fit is good as always, but as much as I like the "clickyness" of the buttons, I find them too easy to press

Did you notice any difference in material compared to the 'old' X version?

The carbon fiber on the SS is definitely not real and just a sticker. It looks nice though.

Is the leather on the SS also just a sticker or real leather

Here's a pic from out in the sun of the SlipperySuit carbon fiber.

coudl anyone suggest a glass protector for my Xs Max, with pitaka magpro case.

i originally ordered an icarez 3d, but not compatible with the case...should I be going for a 2.5d?

Any suggestions are most appreciated

I'm using the Bodyguardz Pure 2 Edge and it has worked fine with every case I've tried so far. I'll have the Pitaka Pro tomorrow and will report back then it works with the case or not.

Here's picture of this screen protector with the Solid Suit case.

[doublepost=1539884579][/doublepost]Is the Pitaka Pro soft or hard rubber on the sides?
[doublepost=1539885138][/doublepost]Still love my blacked out Monarch though.

[doublepost=1539887559][/doublepost]Thinking about returning this one. Only have a couple of days left in my return window.

It's cool but I'll never use it. Anyone like this wild color?

Pitaka is in between soft and hard rubber I would say? Not soft like silicone. Closer to hard rubber than soft.

I don’t like that bright yellow personally ;)

Used my bench grinder with a wire wheel to lightly scuff up the edges on my silicone Miracase. You have to look closely to see the scuffed up edges, it was enough to add an incredible amount of grip. I may do it to the sheath as well!

Why didn’t the icarez work? That’s what I have right now and I unfortunately just ordered the pitaka yesterday.
