Wonder how long the SlipperySuit buttons will work before they start falling out?
Just saw the button falling deal while looking at reviews for the iPhone X version.

I didn’t have that problem with the two SolidSuits for my X, but I did have other quality problems... If it happens, I would contact RhinoShield, their service had been good for me!

Here is the leather. Definitely not grippy, but it is very nice. Not sold 100%

Nice, but the leather looks overly leather-like. I don't know how to say it, but the leather looks really grainy. Maybe you get what I mean.

Does it smell like leather ?

If we keep returning cases Amazon is going to fold. o_O
Not as good as the Mous did that I had for the X.

I would do the same! What cases do you have on order currently?
None...this was it. Surprise, surprise. ;)

The classic black is in my Amazon cart presently. Unfortunately is not eligible for prime right now

Aagggrrr I’ve already spent a stupid amount on cases, and now you’ve made me buy another one!

In my opinion, this is the best looking case out there! Covers the bottom, good buttons (since it doesn’t cover them), nice leather, and great quality (on pictures at least).

But, there is a but, it doesn’t offer much drop protection I think. Such a shame, but acceptable if you see how slim it is.

I bought this one in grey and had it replaced as the area around the buttons bows out and leaves a gap. The replacement had the same issue so I'm sending both back. I can see boardiesboi has the same issue there.. there's a noticeable gap around the buttons where dirt and debris can get in and scratch the bezel. You can see the gold popping out at the sides.

Just a heads up. I've been in contact with Bellroy and notified them that there's clearly a design issue here. Might not bother everyone but it will loosen up further around the buttons as time goes on. Not worth the money and it's too bad because it's a really good looking case with great grip.

Yes I noticed that over the last day or so too. Especially at the bottom and the volume buttons.

I’m enjoying it as it is now but I’m not sure if I can return it directly to bellroy? I bought it off a third party website and not directly from them.

Does the case front have a lip?

I definitely will compare them. I’m using my apple leather case right now but the solidsuit is my favorite so far out of the many I’ve tried.

I’m noticing a trend here. Solid Suit is the crowd favorite!

Ended up ordering Solid Suit Classic Black as recommended by The Juiceman :)

Nice! Let us know what you think. I may have to contact Rhinoshield about a sponsorship or something. I can’t be giving them too much free advertising lol.

P.S. I haven’t found a reason to complain about it yet. That’s a big deal for me as I’m sure yall can tell from my history on this thread.

Now, do I order the leather SlipperySuit, black Otterbox Symmerty or the carbon fiber UAG Monarch case with my $$ from the return of that Gear4 case

How long does Amazon take to put the return $$ on their gift card now?
They use to issue the refund as soon as UPS scanned in the return but I think that has changed.

It’s a tough call as they are all different! The UAG Carbon Monarch is wonderful and grippy etc but it sits in your hand differently then the leather option you mentioned. If you travel or your outside allot the Carbon Monarch is perfect. If you have an office job the leather case is better. The Otter box symmetry is also nice! You can’t loose here I’d say follow your heart and use case

The Evutec Case is wonderful however it’s a huge finger print trap lol the buttons are TPU / rubber but work well. I even put another pop socket on it lol if anyone wants pics let me know. My Caudabe Lucid Clear arrives tomorrow I’ll let ya know if it’s a keeper!

Here’s my favorites I’m keeping:
UAG Carbon Monarch
Evutec Carbon with pop socket
Element Illusion with pop socket
Apple Leather Cape Cod for around the house use
** waiting to see about the Caudabe and if it’s no bueno I’ll return it**

I’m going to have 4 cases max lol

Well, I tried the bodyguardz ace pro and I’m returning it. Great case in nearly every way but the mute switch is impossible to use. It is the smallest opening of any case I’ve ever seen, I really don’t understand how bodyguardz would ever make it since it’s small and also very deep. Unless you have a pen you won’t be muting your phone. The buttons are also fairly stiff, maybe I’m just spoiled by the solidsuit.

I should get my nomad rugged on Friday and will update with that, so far I haven’t found a clear case that I like. Any suggestions for a clear case that will protect?

I’ll let you know tomorrow if the Lucid Clear Caudabe case is wonderful or not. Stay away from Caseology Clear cases they are rubber and not so nice!

For $h1t$ and giggles, I decided to try out the Pitaka Magcase Pro to compare to the Evutec Aer Carbon. I'm still not a fan of the look of the Magcase Pro, but I really like the lowered lips on the sides and bottom. I'm not using a screen protector this time, so the lower sides and bottom are wonderful and flush with the screen. If you use a screen protector, forget it. The sharp edges aren't that comfy, but it does improve the grip(maybe psychologically, as you will feel if the phone is going to slip). Compared to the Aer, it's heavier by far. The Aer makes the XS Max feel pretty light. The Magcase Pro is solid and feels like it's part of the phone when on. I'm not getting the fingerprint issues on either case. The Evutec is a simple classy looking case with it's clean lines and seamless transition from aramid to TPU. The Magcase Pro is a solid rugged case with the lower lips being the best part I think. However it reminds me of a fixed up Honda Civic with a spoiler on top of a spoiler and overdone body kit with flared out fenders...yeah, I basically think it's kinda tacky looking.
