Hahaha. Thanks for your reply bud. I myself have the same issue i.e being super picky hence i keep coming back to this thread. Plus most of the good stuff mentioned in this thread is not easily available in UK and then returning the cases i dont like. Once there is consensus which is highly unlikely as you stated we all have different needs and tastes ill probably pull the trigger on the best combo.
Plus its fun reading all the posts whilst at work.
Now back to your recommendation.
Solid Suit Classic Black or Leather ?

No problem.

I personally prefer the classic black as I don’t ever want to have to worry about water. A youtuber named technically tee has both and he says they feel pretty similar as far as grip. So I think this one is more of a preference. Now I haven’t tried the leather but if it is anything like the Apple leather it will start slick and then get more grip as it ages.

Anyone using a Solidsuit and 3D glass protector?

Currently my Icarez 3D glass on my XS is working with UAG cases, Speck Presidio grip, and Speck Candyshell grip.
The Icarez 3D is the original iphone X version with full adhesive.

I just sold my two SolidSuits for my C due to the fit loosening... You guys are making me consider buying the improved XS version.

When I tried the brushed steel version, I did appreciate the extra grippy texture on the sides. My hope is the leather is better than the steel.

The grip of the X version was fine for me. However, the peeling and fit loosening was the deal breaker. When they solved that, I will buy another one... However, I am not sure if that’s the case.

The icarez 3d fits the solid suit perfectly. Zero lifting and no gap so it looks like there's no screen protector on your phone.

Hi Bud,

If you dont mind me asking from where did you get that dust plug.Looks very neat compared to cheap metal ones.

Thanks
Sal

You can find them on Amazon they are called Port Plugs. Use them on all my phones.
[doublepost=1540309575][/doublepost]SlipperySuits and all, I'm back in the Otterbox Symmetry which I consider one of the best cases for the iPhone Max.
Not slippery and no crow bar needed for removal.

Lol did you watch the video?

Yes, I've removed hundreds of different cases from different phones over the years but none as tough as the SlipperySuit.

When they need to make a video to explain how to remove the case, you know you need a crow bar! ;)

You hit the nail on the head with this one. ;)

Ok I’ll give it up. It’s just it’s easy for me so I’m wondering if there are some manufacturing differences. I mean of course there are no process is perfect. I find the speck cases extremely difficult to get on and take off so maybe that spoiled me for the solid suit.

Now, do I order the leather SlipperySuit, black Otterbox Symmerty or the carbon fiber UAG Monarch case with my $$ from the return of that Gear4 case

How long does Amazon take to put the return $$ on their gift card now?
They use to issue the refund as soon as UPS scanned in the return but I think that has changed.

So far I’ve been rocking the SupCase unicorn beetle and it’s great but just not grippy enough around the edges. I got a UAG Monarch all black with the leather insets as a gift and tried it for one day but I really don’t like the look. It’s a shame because it seems very protective and well made. Now I’m stuck with an expensive case and no receipt. First world problems I guess. I think I’m gonna try a apple leather saddle brown at some point.

Everyone that has picked up the solid suit never picks the microfiber back. I'm quite curious of the feel of that on hand. It would
also be the preference I would pick. How come no one has went for the soft feel of microfiber ?

I got mine from amazon so I never got the chance. I don’t think they offer it there.

Dear SolidSuit owners, when you squeeze the sides of the case, do you feel any space between the phone and the case?

I got that one when it was on sale for the X for $10. It was ok, the gray was lighter than I would like. I ended up giving it to my niece, who loved it

Well, I tried the bodyguardz ace pro and I’m returning it. Great case in nearly every way but the mute switch is impossible to use. It is the smallest opening of any case I’ve ever seen, I really don’t understand how bodyguardz would ever make it since it’s small and also very deep. Unless you have a pen you won’t be muting your phone. The buttons are also fairly stiff, maybe I’m just spoiled by the solidsuit.

I should get my nomad rugged on Friday and will update with that, so far I haven’t found a clear case that I like. Any suggestions for a clear case that will protect?

Could you please compare the SolidSuit to the Rugged? I am REALLY curious about those two.
