I got the 32... I didn't think I would even uses the 16, but it was only a hundred extra, and I figured its better having it there now rather than having to figure out what to to in the future, once i start running out of space.

64gb

I think about how long I will keep it and then I feel the extra money is worth it.

I went with the 64gb but only because I'm using it in conjunction with my photography stuff and loaded 17gb of images already but my wife went with 16gb because she will only be using it as a toy

32gb

I purchased the 32 GB myself. I figured the apps would be a little bigger, so it wouldn't hurt getting the extra space.

32Gb iPad + Verizon MiFi FTW!!

Arc:D

Bought the 32. 16 would've been a little too cramped for me, while 64 would've been a little much. Very pleased thus far.

64GB.

Apps are only going to get bigger.

I'm in historical shock that each 16GB of storage only costs $100.
I remember when 128K costs multiple times that - LOL. :D
I'm 'old' in this game and to me Apple prices usually seem quite fair.

I figure it increases the lifespan when I hand it over to the kids.

Went in with the intention of getting the 16 gb version... walked out a happy owner of the 32gb version. The 32gb was the first to sell out at the best buy I bought it at.

I got the 32gb. Can't decide between the 16gb or 32gb 3G. It will only be used for a 6week study abroad in Italy, then be sold. I plan to travel a lot when I'm there so 32gb would be nice but not sure if I want to pay all that to just resell.

Anyone know how wifi coverage is in Europe? Might not even be worth getting the 3g

Do you even know for sure that the 3g will work in Italy? Will you need some kind of Italy-compatible micro-sim card or something?

i went with the 16, now i am wishing i went for the 32.

Would anyone know if you can exchange the 16 for a 32? and pay the difference? are you still stuck with the 10-15% restock fee? if not, i might just swap it out.

I got the 16 to see if I needed anything more. If I decide it's not enough then I'll go for the 64. I don't get the 32. $100 for an extra 16GB? I'll spend the $200 to get an extra 48GB

Where did you buy it? From what I have read on here, best buy charges no restocking fee

I was told by my salesperson that I could exchange it for a more expensive model and not have to pay the restocking fee.

i got it from the apple store at the mall, i think i might be giving them a call.

I got the 64 gb model. I skimped when it came to my first two iPhones and regretted it. It's always a good feeling I can throw whatever I want on it and not have to worry about storage for a good while.

I wonder if you wouldn't be better off getting a Cradle point type device.

Then pick up a cheap USB modem and pay as you go plan for when you are there. The cradle point has a battery in it which you could pick up a spare if you thought you needed it. Their website shows which usb modems are compatible. I saw UK devices but not sure about Italy. Then you can use it back here in the states or sell it when you got back. Might be a cheaper initial investment.

16gb for me, I have everything I could possibly want on there and I still have 5gb to work with.
