I need to know the prices before I decide. But I would really like the stainless steel with the Milanese loop

If it's less than $5,000 I'll actually consider the Edition. Otherwise, probably the stainless steel with the blue modern buckle. I like that mechanism. You can go to the Apple website to see the picture.

I'm always fascinated that people know what they're going to buy before they know how much it will cost!

I'm not sure I'll buy one but I'm excited / curious to see prices. It's scaring me that people think the Edition will be thousands of dollars. I like the gold with midnight blue leather. But I like a number of the bands. I think they make a decent amount from people buying multiple bands. I would have trouble paying even $900 or $1K for the watch even if I have the extra money for it as opposed to using the money for something else.

I guess if I want the functionality I could buy the $349 one. I hope that they come with a band and you don't have to buy even the first one separately.

I would get the stainless steel. Looks so amazing, that polished silver. But if it is upwards of $1000, I would definitely hold off in hopes for a round design. Really wish they would do a premium level, polished stainless steel iPhone!

Salary in the 6 figures, and single with no kids. I can splurge once or twice a year on things. This can be a splurge for 2015. I wouldn't upgrade every year but would keep it for a while.

Pink sport edition as pink is my favorite color and I would use it all the time.

Hoping for the Stainless Steel model with the Milanese Loop, but I will settle for the Sport model with the Milanese Loop. 38mm either way.

42mm Stainless Steel a white sport band, milanese loop and a bright blue leather loop. I'll just change them depending on the situation (sport band for running, cycling and rowing. Milanese for more formal occasions and the bright blue as my regular daily driver).

Although they keep showing the stainless steel Apple Watch on the left, the Sport in the middle and the Edition on the right, I don't think the stainless steel watch will be the cheapest.

The Sport Apple Watch will probably be the cheapest. It's the lightest and and it doesn't even have a sapphire screen. It has an Ion-X screen, which is probably cheaper.

Whatever is cheapest is what I may get. I'm not sure if I'm getting one. I'll have to give up my unlimited data plan to use it at its fullest.

Indeed.

I suspect, in reality the Steel one SHOULD only cost a little more than the Aluminum version.

Material wise a few dollars, slightly longer cycle time on the CNC being milled out, and polishing, and the material difference for the sapphire screen.

We know from articles we read about the cost of sapphire mobile screens we were looking at a couple or few dollars more than gorilla glass for 1 screen, still only a handfull of dollars though.

Sheer guess, we could be looking at say around 20 dollars more on Apples side for the steel over the aluminium model to make it.

I'd suspect we will be looking at $150 for the customer.

Perhaps $350 for aluminium, $500 for steel, They will want maximum profit, but not to the point where people say, oh sod it, it's exactly the same device, there will be a new one next year anyway, I'll just go with the cheapest.

You want to price it, at a point where people will disregard that, and think, oh well it's not THAT much more for the better one, I'll get the better one.

I think I will get the cheapest collection watch with a white (or maybe blue) band like Mr. Cook :)
But I it will be funny to make the trip to a apple store for big try fashion try on of all bands.
