Was thinking of upgrading my 8 to a 10s or 10s Max, but I needed ProMotion and more importantly, greatly improved FaceID. We didn't get the former, and we may have gotten SOME improvement on the latter, but I'm skeptical just how much better because it was barely a blip in the keynote. Oh, and I was expecting a $100 price drop like all the rumors suggested. So no, not paying crackpipe prices for an upgrade that's pretty weak historically even for an S year.

Since I have already sold my iPhone X. I will be definitely buying new iPhone.

I'm thinking to buy iPhone XS Max. But there are lot of questions which are unanswered about Max.

I think I'll go with iPhone XS 64GB. I don't need a bigger size and without any additional features, it just doesn't make any sense. I don't even watch videos on my iPhone and to carry just a bulky iPhone is only going to create more problems for me.

I would have loved to take all these hassles if it added features like split screen multi-tasking, landscape home screen, landscape Face ID, PiP for Video Apps etc

I've still got a 7 Plus, but since having my lad (and yearly iPhone upgrade was predominantly because of the camera) I bought a Nikon D850 DSLR.
Going to upgrade the S3 Cellular to S4 Cellular though, that's a given, but might get another new lens for the Nikon instead of upgrading the phone.

Non, Just ordered a Vivo Nex for $600 dollars. 6.6 inch smartphone with an in display fingerprintscanner and a Snapdragon 845 with 8GB of ram. I think Apple phone prices are getting ridiculous by now .

On 6s 64GB and would be interested in upgrading to face ID and home gestures and is enough to sacrifice headphone jack. XR missing 3D Touch is a downgrade and iPhone 8 isn't worth losing the headphone jack for wireless charging. So the choice is either XS 64GB or stick with the 6s for yet another year.

Actually considering passing, don't think it's worth the price especially when its base storage is 64Gb.

Would like the XS but don't think I'm prepared to pay that much anytime soon, will keep my 128GB 7.

On the IUP, but honestly conflicted about whether to change my X or just pay off the second year. The XS Max looks OK but the X was already extremely expensive, even monthly.

Honestly don’t know what the XS is meant to be, don’t think you could tell it apart in daily usage from the X.

If I was going from a pre-X phone, the obvious choice is the XR, though would like to see the screen in person.

Not upgrading my SE, because they forgot to give me an upgrade path. It can last a little longer but I'm going to be really annoyed if I have to switch to android because there's no small, powerful iphone option.

Reluctantly going from an old 6+ to an Xs 256GB. Those prices...but it is definitely a significant upgrade to what I've been using...

Very tempted to go for a 64GB 8 with the £100 discount from last years price to replace my 6S. The 8 has the same chip as the X so should last easily for the next 3+ years and it's £400 cheaper than an XS with the same storage.

going from my 8+ 256gb to a Xs Max 256gb. Pending wife approval but it should be ok.
Not sure what she'll upgrade to. And I'll either get an 8 or a Xr for my daughter.

I've upgraded every phone since I came into he Apple Ecosystem. This is the first time I can say that I am not compelled; I'll stick with my iPhone X 256gb. I guess we're seeing the maturation of an industry - maybe every two years won't be a bad thing ;)
