Either a 16GB iPod touch or a 160GB iPod classic, can't decide! This new line up is amazing! I almost feel like buying one of each.

I think I won't be getting an iPod soon since the design concept of the iPods has changed. I already disliked the 2nd gen nano's design but now there is no iPod left that matches the slick, sexy design of the white Macbooks and the old iMacs:(
this is just sad...the white color used to be the trademark of iPods and now that trademark has been replaced by color options that aren't even nice to look at (I liked the old shuffle's color options way better).

Like: Nano and Touch.

But I have a 1st gen nano which serves my needs fine and I don't believe in upgrading just for the sake of it.

iPod Classic :D

160GB in Silver with the click wheel (best interface for music).. **** yeah.

iPod touch!!!!!!!

i can't wait to get mine. i don't get why everyone's screaming about the small capacity. i've had a 1 gig nano for the past 2 years and really don't find it a pain to switch out its contents from time to time.

someone please explain the need to have your whole library in your pocket.

the wifi is the topper!! anyone think you'll be able to use email with it?

apparently he changed his mind.

Maybe an old one. Will prices for the current 80GB model will drop to below $250? The classic (5.75?) one feels outdated like what's already out there but the touch lacks the capacity that I've been looking for. I have about 40GB of music now + planned to encode season 3 of the office (no longer though). Deciding what to listen to every day and transferring files over really annoys me. But I need to get something since my 3rd gen died a few months ago... I'd been hoping for the best of both worlds here. The old backup 512MB iriver isn't cutting it.

And the first iPod was only 5 GB. So the iPod touch has more capacity then the original iPod where Steve said this.

4GB iPod nano...because it's cheap and I only need it to add to my collection :D

Just ordered it 10 min ago!

I'm going to go for the iPod touch. I'm undecided on which size though. I think I'll keep my 5.5g to keep all my music for long trips, and make an 8 gig playlist for the touch to bring around for all other times.

If this isn't sarcasm - what are they lacking now that they had in the past? Monochrome non-click-wheel iPod? Original Mini? Black Nano?

Oh...maybe you mean you don't like the new fatty Nano? I can see that. What did AI say yesterday - the red-headed stepchild that everybody's already ridiculed is really being released? Does seem like the only miscue in this whole lineup.

Some of us audiophiles like to have all of our music on hand! My music library being 7GB, I have plenty to listen to when I tote them all at once.

I ordered the 16GB touch.

I have a 15GB with the 4 buttons on top so the capacity will not be that much of a problem.

I might get rid of a few songs so I can put some videos but with youtube I don't really need that many.

iPod Shuffle-Lanvender! It's like my favorite color, plus I need a new one to replace my older iPod..

Selling my 30gb iPod 5g and 4gb iPod nano 2g and getting the 160gb iPod Classic in silver. Should be very very niiiiice :)

I have nearly 800 CD's. I have two homes. Carrying an ipod loaded with all my CD's is for more convieniant that carrying CD's back and forth. Simple as.

Probably a stupid question, but don't you have a computer at each home? Why not just put the library on the drive of each if you want everything in both places?

I thought I was going to get the Nano, but I reall yliked the 2G design and don't like this fat one.

So I'll be replacing my 4GB Silver Mini, with the iPod Touch,

Wireless Safari on Brighton beach without taking out my Macbook? WOOOHOOO :)

I want a black nano and a black classic...I like the iPhoneminusthephone they announced but the way I see it, my iPhone is in my pocket EVERYWHERE I go, why would I buy the same thing again but lose capability? So here's what I'm looking forward to...the 16GB iPhone. The $200 price drop leaves much room for the addition of the 16 gigger, so if that releases I'm going to try to sell off this one, get that one :D I love the classic and nano though :)

16GB iPod Touch

While juggling money around for a 24" iMac, I think it's going to have to wait for a little longer...because I really want the 16GB ipod touch.

I bought a 15GB 3G ipod back in 2003, and around the 04/05 holiday season the drive crapped out, replacing it with a 20GB and a new battery it still chugs along very nicely :)

So a 16GB ipod touch is fine to me, most of you are forgetting that the mainstream ipod just 4 years ago was 10GB or 15GB, yea true it didn't hold video or photos, but we all managed and did anybody complain?

I would advise to anybody undecided to really think about flash memory, it's much more durable and easy on the battery life. After my 15GB 1.8" drive dying I really don't rely on HDD based ipods, sure they're much cheaper per GB but remember, it's not a question of if you're HDD is going to die, it's a question of WHEN it's going to die...

lol, the screen and wifi also really make me want one, remember I'm coming from a 2" black and white screen!

Getting the touch as soon as they are stocked at one of my local authorized iPod resellers:D, about to sell my 5.5G to someone for $125. $175 more and im golden....:)

8GB iPod Touch for me!!!

Poor college student is buying an 8GB iPod Touch...

I going to the library and waiting 10 mins to find an open computer just so I can check my e-mail...

At USF the entire campus has WiFi so that will be extremely useful!

I will be ordering tonight.
