If that's the case, then I suspect you did not like the positive ending of the movie "Outbreak". I actually like "The Hot Zone" very much, and in fact, I plan on re-watching it soon.
Ay, new recommendation! Now, I have to check out "Outbreak." Lol.

The Hot Zone was good -- I thoroughly enjoyed it. I knew it was based on a true story, so no zombies. :(

I love post-apocalyptic tv series and movies, and I wanted more panic to occur but they tamed the situation. It's pretty surprising that they still don't have a cure for Ebola or HIV.

Yes, "The Hot Zone" was based on a true story. Not sure how accurate it is (need to look that up).

As for being based on a true "story", another recent series is "Project Blue Book". I thoroughly enjoyed its first 2 seasons, and I hope there is a Season 3, especially with the cliff hanger at the end of the last episode for Season 2.

If you guys are interested in The Hot Zone, you should really read the (non-fiction) book it was based on.

Yes, it premieres on AMC Sunday, April 12th. They actually moved it up 2 weeks, from the original April 26th date. Here is the announcement:

And yes, Season 4 has been "approved":

Interesting they moved Season 3 up 2 weeks. Wonder if the delay of Fargo Season 4 had a partial influence on that change?

I've heard this was really good...

It's pretty fantastic, I mean, like Top N all time type good (hahaha, wasn't sure about my N ...)

Excellent, we're probably going to start S3 this afternoon!
You'll like it! But be prepared for the opening scene of the first episode. Pretty intense!

Well, I watched the first episode of Season 3 of "Ozark", and right away, there were some gruesome scenes involving the Cartel! I almost jumped out of my seat! The episode, as expected, kept getting better and better, and it seemed quite long. I think I'll first re-watch it before Episode 2.

Hahaha, holy hell!!! S3E1 ....

Yeah, I've watched the first two episodes of Season 3, and it had me glued to my seat! Will watch Episode 3 tonight.

Ozark, season 3 did not disappoint. Such a good show. i love how they solve things rather quickly and don’t drag it out or leave major cliffhangers.

Started Ozark season 3 yesterday evening. Watched seven episodes in a row and had to get some sleep. Great, great season, once again.

That first ten minutes of the first episode really was something, you guys weren't kidding! I'm already bummed there are only three episodes to go.

I'm late (really late) to the Friday Night Lights party... almost done with Season 1, but was hooked by the second episode. I always thought it was a teenie-bopper high school show—boy was I off on that.

I finished Episode 5 last night, and is it ever keeping me glued to my seat! Once I am done with it, will probably watch it again. The next "event" is the Season 3 premiere of Killing Eve here in the US, on AMC, Sunday, April 12th.

But still bummed out that Season 4 of Fargo has been delayed, and still no definitive date for Season 3 of Cobra Kai.

Overall, it's a very good show, but wait 'till you see what happens in S2.

Episode 7 of Better Call Saul is on tonight. And later on, I'll watch Episode 6 of Ozark.

Unfortunately, my Tuesday evenings no longer have episodes of Project Blue Book, as Season 2 finished last week, with an excellent cliff hanger! Still waiting for see if there will be a third season of that excellent series. This latest info seems promising:

And finally, waiting (with breathless hope!) when Season 3 of Cobra Kai will be on. Here's the "latest":

Friday Night Lights was an excellent show. My wife and I really liked it.
