I find it hard to break out of old habits and try new stuff. So after going back through the first three season of "Narcos", am on "Miami Vice" now.

Given that season 4 of Fargo will be released on Sunday, September 27th, I plan on re-watching the first 3 seasons of that excellent "series". I might even re-watch the original movie.

Also, will re-watch the first 2 seasons of Cobra Kai soon, as Season 3 will be coming out sometime "soon".

Where can you watch season 4 of Fargo?

If you are in the US, it will be on the FX network:

Otherwise, no matter where you are (assuming Hulu can be accessed in the country one is at), if you subscribe to Hulu, you can watch it there:

I almost always give shows 3 episodes. Some of them need time to really get their sea legs.

I'm starting to think from comments in this thread that I didn't give The Americans enough time. Think I bailed after three episodes. Maybe I wasn't watching it in summer, I am more inclined to let myself watch TV shows in the doldrums of that season. Too hot to go for a walk, the weeds have given it up in the garden, the tomatoes aren't big enough even to fry green yet, already have three books half-read and taking their turn in my head... so... yeah, more TV that must be it. But first I have to finish Suits since so far I don't seriously dislike enough of it to quit watching that.

I found it to be quite excellent and the ending to be poignant.

Somehow I missed that one altogether, but heaven knows I have enough time now to go back and watch. I only ever heard praise for it.

Finishing up Season 4 of Rick & Morty, where to go from here...?

Watch something 'old' for the gazillionth time, or watch something 'new' (to me, at least)...?

Has anyone binged The Dead Zone?

I was looking for a new show and a friend told me about this... so I looked it up on IMDB... found an episode from 2003 (S2E14) called "Plague", about a highly contagious virus that originated in China. The virus presents with a high fever and respiratory distress, and there's no known treatment. Eventually the lead character discovers the only way to fight the virus is "chloroquine".

Not yet sold on the premise of the show, but did find this particular episode interesting/coincidental.

So I started watching The Strain again...

And Eph's little spiel about contagions & viruses, filtered thru these troubling times, is kinda frightening & really on point...

Warning.. food puns ahead. ?

Spent the last couple weeks binging the three-course feast that is Hannibal (2013). Fantastic acting all around (but especially Mads Mikkelson as Hannibal Lecter), mouthwatering cinematography (and those cooking montages) and perfectly seasoned dialogue. The third/final season was perhaps a bit ostentatious at times. Still though, might be the best horror/drama series I’ve ever… devoured.

Caution- it's not for the faint of heart. How a show with this much blood and gore originally aired on NBC is beyond me.

Excellent show.

Completely out of place for NBC, but it survived because the network only had to pay very little for it. It was an international production sustained mostly by international rights. The producers did very well, with small budgets.

Bryan Fuller often says he knows how the story would continue, and all the actors are on board, if somebody would provide the financing to revive it.

There was recently a funny story about how Fuller had to battle NBC, who wanted a more recognizable actor (John Cusack. Hugh Grant?!), to cast Mads. Thankfully, that didn't happen, and contributed to a level of the network's apathy that ended up being a benefit.

Agreed. Mads Mikkelsen was perfect in the role. I dare to say his Lecter was as good as, if not better than, Anthony Hopkins'.

I'm completely satisfied with the way the series ended, but I'd be open to more if they were able to do it. The finale left just a sliver of an opening for another season.

Coincidentally, (noticing your avatar) I just started Mr. Robot this morning.. o_O
