Just finished Call the Midwife and Professor T (the English version).
Currently going through Katla, directed by the same person who did Trapped, both Icelandic series.
Will then have to catch up on Clarice.

I very much enjoyed Trapped and watched it twice. I'll have to find Katla. I read quite a bit of Icelandic noir.

Bing Bang Theory , I really discredited this show thinking its some nerds fad trying to be pushed down the throats of the viewers. Turns out to be pretty funny and unique in a way, and has some sort of a formula that makes you keep watching episode after episode. I haven't seen a show like that in some time.

I stumbled upon Mr. Robot that has high ratings on IMDB. Any opinions?

Just finished Madam Secretary.

And now I’ve started Manifest. I actually watched a couple episodes of this when it was first released on NBC but didn’t stick with it. Started Monday from the beginning and I’m up to episode 3.

I really enjoyed Madam Secretary as an easy, pleasurable show, and it's fun knowing Tea Leoni and Tim Daly are partners in real life. I thought the episode with the three real-life former secretaries of state was quite a coup.

Yes I really like Bosch. I’m keeping some episodes for tomorrow. I think they are doing a spin off.
The new spin-off series of Bosch will launch on Amazon's IMDb TV. This free ad-supported service is currently only available to viewers in the United States.

There is currently no release date scheduled for when we might see detective Bosch and his new show yet, but since filming has already started, it implies we could be seeing the return of these characters in the next year or so.

I'd suggest you watch the first season and decide.

The show has its own way of storytelling, and some themes very relevant to these times we live in. Making the tech elements authentic was also important to the producers. If the first season doesn't dissuade them it's worth continuing.

A lot of people disliked the second season, but I didn't think it was as bad as it was made out to be.

I rate it highly, but it's not going to have mass appeal, based just on a lot of the subject matters it touches.

Those who recall a short-lived show called Rubicon will probably also recall Michael Cristofer, who plays a similar character in Mr. Robot. Which he's great at.

Watched "Burden of Truth" season 4 end of last week. Good ending to the series. Nothing really new there, same old formula, good pacing, enjoyed it. Reminded me at some point I'll have to finish "How to get Away with Murder".

Also watched "Biohackers" season 2. While it's good, it's very different from season 1. There really isn't much "biohacking" going on, more like dealing with the aftermath of season 1.

Not sure what's next. I still have "Falling Skies" and "Colony" on my rewatch list. So maybe one of those. Also have "Wynonna Earp" (season 2 onward) and "The Outpost" on my first-time list. Decisions, decisions...

I started 'Upload' on Amazon Prime yesterday. It's a quirky comedy turned into a murder mystery. It takes place in the 2030s and when people die they can upload their consciousness into their choice of afterlife. The main character is killed in a self-driving car accident and is 'uploaded' into the 'heaven' that his girlfriend reserved for him. Through various interactions with the other residents of his heaven as well as his earth-bound customer service rep, he's beginning to find out he's been murdered because he came up with a code that would allow the average person to digitize their own self thereby putting people out of business.

The best thing about this show is that while not actually saying the word, they've hinted that Apple is actually the company that came out with this 'upload' technology. They had a 'live from Cupertino' segment doing a demonstration of it. Yes, they actually said Live from Cupertino. (Now I wonder if Tim Cook is the murderer :D)

It's a decent time-killer and I highly recommend this.

At some point in the past on YouTube a recommended video popped up for me. It was iJustine promoting this show by uploading something and then one of the actors shows up and they did an interview in a horrible looking VR world. The whole thing was so cringe, that I decided to never watch it. ?

It’s really not bat at all. It’s definitely not 5 star programming but I’ve certainly seen worse and the episodes are short so it’s easy to breeze through in a day or two. It got renewed so I’m guessing it’s somewhat popular on Prime. Ultimately I’m glad I watched it and will likely finish it up tonight.

Finished season 1 last night. Really like this one.

The wife and I are about halfway through the 1st season. Both of us think the acting and writing are pretty poor, but we keep watching more episodes. There is something intriguing about the mystery of the story.

We just binged all of Ted Lasso. That was such an amazing show that had great characters and great writing.

Yeah, there's something about Manifest... almost done with season 2.

Love Ted Lasso, but a bit too much of the "universal adjective" for us... do people REALLY use it that much? Definitely not suitable for the grandkids... shame, too, as it's quite entertaining with a good cast and story line.

Also watching Home Before Dark... season 2 is as good as season 1, but hate the drip... drip... drip... of weekly episode releases... guess Apple has to milk it to keep people subscribed... gonna cancel and wait for the shows to load up before resubscribing.

Ted Lasso (2020).
As I mentioned somewhere else, I watched the first episode a few months ago and I was meh-ish. A few days ago I re-watched it... the result? Binge watching. My wife also loved every second of the show. I guess that the first time around I wasn't in the mood.
Man, I'd love to be more like Ted Lasso...
