Just finished True Detective Season 2. Really enjoyed it.

Next is Bates Motel and then Fear The Walking Dead. Then Jessica Jones in November.

There's really only so much "Your left eye twitched, and you're right hand-dominant, so I could tell you're the murderer" you can take at a time. It would be nice to have a series in which the main character constantly gets stuff like that wrong and has to fall back on objective analysis to solve cases.
For a light hearted alternative, Psych is pretty good. He pretends to be psychic, but really just notices things. In case you also don't notice the clues, they light them up on-screen and make a "bling" sound. The characters aren't British, though.

I keep going back to old series these days – Lost, Breaking Bad and such. I have no energy starting up on a new one I am afraid :D I got started on Homeland a while back but is has not gotten a hold of me yet.

In between seasons of other shows we follow in "real time", we started House of Cards (US). It's as good as I've read, Spacey is always so fantastic, I mean, pretty much everyone is at the top of their game in this. Sure, it's a little over the top/hyper-realistic, but I appreciate the [sometimes] idealized spin on US politics. We finished up S1 this week, and will probably start S2 this weekend :)

Season 2 premier episode. Holy. ****.

Currently trying to finish Falling Skies. I'm in the middle of season 4. Then I'll catch up on a bit of Heroes to at least understand Reborn.

The last one was a mini binge watch of one small season catch up. I think my days of binge watching season after season stopped a couple years ago. I did it with a few shows over the years and I went overboard, no idea how I even watched that much of one show that fast.

Man, wife ad I loved Falling Skies even if was kinda hokie lol. But they ruined the last season, won't spoil it for you. Especially the last episode. They were supposed to have another season, and then cancelled it and crammed it into the 5th season primarily the last episode or two. Felt so rushed and stupid, shame.

Right now were still into the Strain (I like Guillermo Del Torros work, I mean the man made the only movie in subtitles I can watch and like lol, Pans Labyrinth which is still badass and creepy today). Fear the Walking dead has so far been awesome.

SOA was our favorite show, had high hopes for Bastard Executioner. Not sure, pilot was 2 hours of wtf is going on. Hopefully it'll get better.

Homeland. very intelligent show.

What season are you in?

Had the whole week-end for myself while being sick - watched the complete S4. :D
Absolutely love this show, probably my favorite, right next to Twin Peaks.

In a coffee shop.
Tonight, I binged out on an ancient BBC TV series: a series called 'Melissa' (a series starring the wonderful Peter Barkworth and written by the incredibly talented Francis Durbridge), one of those elegant, urbane, 70s series.

Rover (and Rolls Royce) cars, endless alcohol (my God, they drank a lot back then), elegant interior furnishings, characters displaying a stiff upper lip demeanour, multiple murders, (and hardly a gun in sight), complicated, improbable and labyrinthine plots, limited characterisation, and a wonderfully haunting theme music to introduce the series.

The biggest binge I will likely be going is catching up on Extant
Is that worth it? I gave it a chance for a number of episodes and it just didn't seem to really be going anywhere. Apparently that was known and they tried retooling it for the second season, but the reviews I've read made it seem like that retooling wasn't of that much help.

It`s kind of questionable. Out of all the shows I watch this is the only one I am behind on which may say a little bit. From what I have seen of season two so far I doubt I could say it is worth it. I am just curious enough to catch up.
