I watched the first couple of episodes of season 1 last year and liked it, but I never kept up with it. I should 'reboot' my viewing of it.For fun, I've been running Californication in the background, just finished up S1 and a couple of EPs into S2, and it reminded how great the series was before those last two/three (seriously, if you watch it, just consider the last EP of season 4 the series finale). It's also a little trippy watching it with the new X-Files season ...

Thanks for the tip. I'll be weary of that when I get back watching it, hopefully soon.Yeah, it's really fun, but holy smokes, after S4 is gets a little shaky and the last season is just terrible.
Overall, the series gets a B+ because of the heapings of good will it generated in S1-4, but wow, yikes, the final season is really just a train wreck.
SOA season 1 was OK, but season 2 is better in my opinion. Jax is kind of the opposite of Dexter, by that I mean he tries to do the right thing but ends up doing the wrong thing because of circumstances out of his control. He wants to go legit but there's always something that foils the plan. It's more about loyalty to the club and it's members. I liked it.
Downloading the rest of the final season of Downton Abbey, now that iTunes has put up the remaining episodes. I’ll be Britspeaking by the end of this evening...
