The finale to Stranger Things 4 is some of the best TV I've seen. It was like freaking Avengers: Endgame. Left me and my daughter speechless. It's also the longest episode of a show I've ever seen clocking in at 2 and a half hours.

Finished up Stranger Things S4 yesterday. Mostly enjoyed it but I’m a bit confused about
Where that sword Hopper picked up in the arena came from
That and a few other bits bothered me as it felt like the details got a little lazy. No regrets watching it though. It definitely got better after episode 4 like many have said.

When the prisoners were forced to fight the Demogorgon they got to pick random weapons I belive that was one of them...

Star Trek Strange New Worlds. Bummer that they killed off...
Hemmer.

They are going to need a new chief engineer. Just a thought...but could one Montgomery Scott be coming aboard? He was already a Lt. Commander on Kirk's Enterprise. Its not inconceivable he could be a Lt. on Pike's ship. Just putting it out there...

The Terminal List (2022)

Finished it all in one sitting. I thought it was going to suck (this is now my default setting with new content), but was pleasantly surprised with how fun and entertaining it was.

The show was a lot darker than I was expecting.

There were a lot of deaths that I did not expect, at least when it happened, and the show was not entirely predictable. The twist ending, if you want to call it that, I saw within the first or second episode, so no surprise there.

Overall, it was good. If I had to pick something that I didn't like about it, maybe the part that took place in the mountains, it ran a little long for me. Other than that, fun, fast-paced, classic style action.

After watching a show, I tend to look at the Rotten Tomato rating just to see how others are thinking about it, and was surprised with how low it is, currently 34%. The audience score is currently 92%.

I compare that to a show I just finished a few days ago, 'In from the Cold' (2022), and that has a RT of 71%, and while I did like 'In from the Cold', I am unsure how anyone could say that it is better than 'The Terminal List'.

I guess Rotten Tomato is one of the worse rating systems to go by.

Finished Stranger Things... Wow. Loved it.

The Boys... This show never disappoints and so far this season has been great and what a nice little "bomb" at the end.

Umbrella Academy - Only three episodes in, but it has been a hoot! No complaints so far.

The Terminal List - Only three episodes in, but I am really liking it. A lot.

I'm watching this right now. That first episode I'm still trying to figure out what is going on just like the main character.
Anywho it's filling a void in my content as there is nothing out I really want to watch, or the season hasn't finished for my binge watching. I was watching Baptiste, but only passively.

The Bear on FX/Hulu got me hooked instantly and I watched the entire series in 1 day over the weekend. Fantastic cast led by Jeremy Allen White (Lip from Shameless) & chemistry is off the charts. The intensity really pulls you in. The penultimate episode is "only" 20 minutes long but I'd put it as a Top 10 TV Episodes in recent memory, maybe top 5. You seriously feel all the increasing tension. It was so good I watched it twice and then realized it was all 1 take! The whole season is so well done in every way and I can not wait for Season 2!

The Terminal List is not disappointing me so far. I am digging it... For those that have seen it up through episode 4, one of my favorite scenes, and probably one of the more gritter scenes so far... "Walk". Oh man!

I am watching two Korean TV series at the moment, one a Netflix and the other at "viki.com."
The first is, "Café Minamdang" at Netflix, and second (at Viki), "Insider," a show with Hag Ha Neul as the leading actor. This is a real good show about a very bright judiciary trainee's trials in a prison as he learns to fight to defend himself, and other skills. The idea is that from a prison he puts a puzzle together in his figuring which officials framed him and killed his family members.

HBOmax - new season of Westworld. Taken on a new twist.

I just saw the first two new episodes this week and was pleasantly surprised to see a new world. Westworld was getting a bit tiring lol, but so was the city setting to be honest.
I predict endless criminals in the new world haha. Smuggling alcohol etc. bit confused by the story though I have to say?

This is on my watch list, glad to know it's good.

Finished the Terminal List... I liked it a lot. Dug the ending, even though I had a strong suspicion on the one character.
Finished it as well. Meh it was ok. Very typical story, which we've seen a bunch of times, kept replaying the "motivation" as if that was good enough for the audience to believe he was doing no wrong. Also he musta been made out of titainum or something, as there were a few moments where "how did he walk away from that". There were a couple of twists near the end but not enough you couldn't see them coming. It was entertaining enough, and well executed, the story just lacked depth or real creativity.
