Star Trek:Voyager and Banshee.

Have been curious about Banshee for a while, because I wanted to see what Kiwi Antony Starr went on to after Outrageous Fortune (best NZ made TV show ever!). Really enjoying it.

It's really good, I got a start on it ahead of the wife, so I stopped, and we're going to watch/re-watch together (I was only up to E5 of S1)
[doublepost=1472241333][/doublepost]It's not "binging" so much as just a little catch up, but Mr Robot S2, holy smokes, this show is fantastic, even S2 that's a little more off-the-rails (we're not totally up to real time, like 3 more EPs)

I'm going to save Mr. Robot S2 for after the election season when maybe I'll be sane enough myself to watch it. Loved the first season. Casting appropriately out of this world.

You know, we were going to wait till the entire 2nd season was complete, but I kept stumbling on spoiler-ish info, so we decided to catch up, stay in sync with the broadcast timeline.

It really is terrific, but I'm surprised at the people who don't like it. Maybe a little too ... Subversive? Technical? Abstract? It's a bit of a slow burn, there aren't action sequences (outside of some PWNAGE) I think some people need a more grounded narrative - FWIW, season 2 gets even +further+ off the ground (so to speak) :D

Totally agree, it's really terrific casting, and I've always loved Slater, he was one of those stars that kind of disappeared, had an attempted come back, movies and TV, that wasn't too successful, so I'm glad to see him getting such glowing reviews of his work on this show.

Definitely! I couldn't count the hours I spent watching that show as a kid with my grandmother. Top notch comedy.

Some old lady who lived in my bro's apartment complex had liked the I Love Lucy show so much that she named her two cats accordingly. Lucy has passed on but Ricky Ricardo is sixteen now, and my bro inherited the cat when the old lady went to live w/ her daughter. The deal for my bro was that a larger apartment for only $25 more a month came with the kitty. So Ricky owns the place (thinks he always did) and the bro just rents there. He installed a cat gym for Ricky but it's possible that some I Love Lucy reruns may be afoot while the bro is at work. Here's Ricky Ricardo:

Well, hardly "binging" as it's a sure fire way to almost guarantee that you put yourself off something for a LONG time, but I watch quite a few:

~ "The Wonder Years"

~ "King of the Hill"

Because OLD TV shows are 1 trillion times better and generally less crude and explicit, and based on better acting and wholesome agendas. I couldn't handle watching most of the utter crap the mainstream classes as "awesome", and I bet they probably might think the same of my tastes - we couldn't care less, mutually, I am sure :)

After watching Stranger Things I decided to jump right into binging on my childhood shows. I figured I still play loads of retro games (I even have a retro games den set up for it) and films, so why not TV too?

Currently watching (only up to the series I used to watch);

Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
Inspector Gadget
Captain Planet

I've got Sister Sister, Family Ness, Rocko's Modern Life, Animals of Farthing Wood, Samurai Pizza Cats all ready to go once I've finished those.

And at night I usually watch a Bob's Burgers before bed.

Finished Homeland S5 in about a week. Probably my least favorite season so far, still good enough though and I dig the Berlin scenery (some obvious exaggerations aside) but the plot has some serious problems and felt more like a (soso done) patchwork than a coherent story with multiple branches.

Besides that I loosely started re-watching The Wire (midway S2 now) and have two episodes left on The Night Of (recommended).

Just finished watching season 2 of Daredevil. My whole family really likes it. Been looking online and it seems that season 3 won't be out until 2018 which is a major bummer.

I've been watching Star Trek Voyager lately, for the first time ever. I'm only in season 2 and watched an episode yesterday where
Non Sequitur
Harry Kim wakes up in San Francisco having never been assigned to Voyager which Starfleet considers lost.

One scene in particular struck me as a bit silly. Starfleet put a tether on Harry and he was trying to escape and was in his apartment when two security officers beamed in to arrest him, a foot chase ensued and he jumped out of a window. What I thought was silly was that they knew where he was, with the tether and all, and they beamed themselves into his home, why didn't they just beam him from his home directly to the brig?

But, anyway it was an okay episode and the series so far is quite likable and I'm enjoying it so far.

Maybe it's an offence to beam people without their permission?

If that's the case Captain's Kirk and Picard would be in a lot of trouble!
Well perhaps the rules were brought in much later? It's a good number of years since I watched Voyager but I do vaguely remember this episode.

We've just finished Season 2 of Powers.

The nice suprise was it was free to watch in PlayStation.
The not so nice suprise was its been canned.
