Just finished Picard after watching Discovery (god awful) and Strange New Worlds (great) to get through the new Star Treks. Lower Decks is not my cup of tea.
Picard was good for S1, TERRIBLE for S2, and okay for S3. I really hate the trend of writing to give the audience what it’s asking for as it’s just trash compared to being original and setting the pacing better.
Sadly, it’s obvious most writers these days aren’t interested in studying old story telling in the 20th century or before. Many classic movies are MUCH better written than the slop they’re generally putting out now.
Honestly, I’ve almost stopped watching all US based TV shows and now watch UK based, where the writing is at least good most of the time.

I'm starting to think that is the fan consensus the further we move away from Season 3. At the time, everyone loved it and it was the greatest thing since DS9. I feel like that opinion is starting to change, and for me, there was only 2 episodes where I really liked, the Ro episode and the second the last episode of the season. There were various other things, but I don't think I can ever forgive the writers for unceremoniously writing off pretty much the rest of the cast in favor of TNG memberbarries. I liked Jurati and Rios.
Rewatching Breaking Bad for the third time, what a show. Even today, it’s above everything I’ve seen in the last decade. The story is absolutely perfect, the acting too and so is the filming.
I remember when it started 10 years ago, I was directly hooked from the very first episode.
No shows get the quality pushed higher & higher by episodes. And we know why: it was agreed from the beginning to do only 5 seasons. Simple as that.
Just watched that Hank in parking scene, still wow.

I watched Stalag 17 on Tubi last week. Such a great movie. Made me think about Hogan's Heroes.
We have been fans of Shetland for some years now.
Currently watching Season 9.
We get to Episode 3, and watching the little boy playing the character of Noah.
My wife and I both felt that his acting was the outstanding acting, not only of the episode, but of the whole d*mn series.
This morning, in my news feed, I see that lots of others have the same opinion.
Young Jacob Ferguson is someone we will enjoy watching as he grows, especially as this appears to be his first appearance.
However you can get it, you need to watch Shetland. The weekend is coming up, binge the whole bl**dy series.

A little late, but we are finally sitting down and started "Supernatural". Only 15 seasons left to go!!!! 
My wife and I used to really enjoy Shetland. However, we lost interest once Jimmy Perez left the show. I find that Tosh and the new blonde woman cannot carry the show. Poor old Tosh, her facial expression is of a person with a constant sour stomach.
Just started The Umbrella Academy season 4, yesterday. Got through 3 episodes, and so far it's...OK, maybe even good?

I didn't care that much for the finale.
I'm aware that the ending might be underwhelming, so that's why I said it was ok/good, so far...
Edit: As I said in another thread, I'm getting quite fed up with the whole multiverse thing, and thus in a weird way I actually liked the ending.

I'm on episode 4 of Terminator Zero.
The artwork is top notch, voice acting also great. I'm watching the subtitled versions and the subtitles uses a less refined translation than what the actors are saying. I expect the English voice acting to be good as well as recent anime has featured quality English dubbing, most likely using the rough vernacular.
I like that they stay true to the first 2 films. Hail, they even used several themes from the first 2 movies (a specific warrior set to the past, terminator dressed as a biker cop, rampage through a police station). The foreshadowing is a subtle as the Terminator's rampage.😏
Anyhow, I like the idea that Skynet passed judgement on humanity based on all the data it has access to, ie the Internet. Seeing how we behave on the Net, Skynet has a point.🤓
There is an AI created specifically to counter Skynet, but there is a risk that it would come to the same conclusion as Skynet if given access to the Internet.😭 Bring it online or no?🤔 Gawd, why is Malcolm still on the fence? 2x dead is the same as dead. Bring it online. Smart people are such idiots at times.😏

Watching the first two seasons of From again so I'm up to date for S3 which just came out. Really like this show and it had been so long I had forgotten a lot of details!!!
