Yes, I did watch that. Not as good as the original.

It was interesting watching Ben Miller in Primeval, Death in Paradise and Professor T, where he basically acted the same character in all three shows.

I find the Western period more interesting the further you go back in time. Revenant for example is 1820's. Mohicans 1750's. If you look up the history of how America was settled there's plenty they could do with the 1600's and 1700's. Although that may qualify more as Easterns. ;)

Correct Latter Day Saints are also called Mormons, I see the missionaries walking around in Geneva sometimes - once a pair starting speaking to me (in French) and hearing their accent I switched to English. Mistake. I was pressed to come to the local LDS temple. I politely turned them down.

Anyhow, just started Season 2 of Squid Game and the first episode was not a disappointment. Also started Season 2 of the anime Solo Leveling. Both are pretty intense.

Near where my mother lives (town in provincial England) 20 years or so ago a Latter Day Saints church just popped up on a patch of development land just up the road from her. It looks like it was parachuted in from the US mid west in terms of size, design and architecture. It's always kept completely immaculate but weirdly over the past 20 years or so I can count on one hand the numbers of times I've ever seen anyone in there... It's all very odd...

Anyway did enjoy the TV series...
 
Binged "American Primevel". Pretty damn good show!

Currently watching "Goliath". WOW... How did I miss this when it first came out. Good stuff.

Finished Patience. Dipped my toe into Astrid et Raphaelle.
I found Patience a much more believable character than Astrid, who just seemed to be a caricature.

I seem to be incapable of binging anymore… I just get itchy after half an hour of whatever I am watching. I tried Breaking Bad, Dexter, The 3 Body Problem, Star Trek: TNG, Severance, but without fail, after half an hour I go off and do other things.

Watched both season two of The Night Agent and season two of The Recruit; the former took a few episodes to get me into it, the latter was pretty good from the start...

Gonna wait for all the episodes to be available first, then I will be looking at the new season of Mythic Quest, which I did not see coming at all...!
