Resurrection is the new Dexter series premiering June 2025:

Original Sin which just finished S1: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32252772/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_4_nm_4_in_0_q_Dexter%20Ori

Everyone hoping for a S2 and I think it's coming but not formally announced yet.
Dexter: Resurrection begins filming in January and is scheduled to debut on Showtime and Paramount+ in Summer 2025.

We started again Dexter a few months ago…we are now approaching the end of season 7! Shows were better honestly compared to what we have today.
there was more lee-way with script writing back then as more creative ideas were bounced around the table
instead of today writers when TV per show are less and had to stay within a stricter guideline towards a certain viewer.
in the day we would say, "will people laugh" now "will people complain online"

Binged it yesterday. So it's finally over. The whole series was a constant up-and-down, switching between who's good and bad in a loop. Ended as good as it could I guess. But overall, too long. Maybe two or three seasons would have been enough. Oh and, Kreese and Silver... lol 🤣

why did everyone h8 Boone?
I just put up with her and those desperate antics enjoyed the show,

Red and the cleaner were great!
Do you mean Liz Keen?

We aren't fans of her and "Tom" because we think their "love Story" is forced and completely unbelievable.

Also, we feel like they are both bad actors and Liz continually, purposely, gets herself in stupid situations.

How many times can you get taken hostage??

Agreed and wait until you hit season 4..

Started watching the latest season of Reacher. 3rd season, 3 episodes in and just as enjoyable as the previous 2. Nothing really jumping the shark for me so far. Not a huge fan of the agent he is working with in this one, she seems to be trying too hard to be the tough no nonsense cop, which I just don't buy. The big thing is Reacher himself, actor continues to do a good job with the character.

Season 1. It's ok, too long though. Will probably start season 2 later this week and finish it over the weekend.
Season 1 was just long bit setup for this bigger spy universe they are setting up. Seems like a bunch have come out doing this. The Bee Keeper is one, there was one with Gal Gadot that was supposed to be part of a bigger series as well. And now with 007 being bought by Amazon you know they are going to be pushing various series out in that universe.

I really like the new season of Reacher. Always loved the small town ambience. And there is tons of humor, we can see they don’t take themselves seriously. A great season compared to the previous one. And they found a bigger guy than Reacher! Amazing.

On Season three now... what a freaking ride so far.
Yep. I’m on Season 4 — which puts a clever spin on the very appropriate “don’t get attached” guidance; but my Season 4 viewing was interrupted by a month and a half trip to Thailand. On my last leg home as I type this and catching up with this show is high on my re-integration task list!

hmmm

I've gotta go back and see if We've seen all of seasons.

Did 4 just released?

Just wanted to mention last week's episode of Call the Midwife.
They dealt with the problem of what happens when you don't vaccinate.
A child caught measles, before vaccinations were available, and became brain damaged and physically crippled. His mother then became an advocate for vaccination.
Then this weeks episode dealt with a man living in an iron lung because he had caught polio as an adult.
I used to live on an island where, a couple of hundred years ago, the population was wiped out by measles.
My own grandfather spent his last decades in a wheelchair because of tetanus, which he got before tetanus shots were available.

I really get p*ssed off when people say vaccinations aren't necessary.

I just wanted to add, the current outbreak of measles in Texas is growing exponentially

First 2 cases, by the end of the week up to 8.
Then a week later it was (I think) 20.
Then a week later it was about 50
It's now about 146, with 1 death.
I say 'about' because these are the cases confirmed by health officials. It is thought that there are other cases that have not been identified.
It is important to remember that in Western European populations, the death rate from measles is about 1%. In other populations it is much higher.

Last year in the US there were 285.
This year there are already 164 all up across 9 jurisdictions.

Finished The Night Agent S2. Pretty much the same as S1. Took a while to get going, overall way too long, otherwise it's ok.
