Finished season 3 of Reacher and I loved it! Much better than S02. It’s straight to the point, no wokeness, no BS, no stupid and pointless family drama, no moral lessons and I loved small town vibe. The big fight got me thinking of Banshee, one of my all time favorites.

So highly recommended show. It’s what I would describe as a true entertainment.

Never really thought that Reacher was woke, unless a big bloke standing up for a smaller, weaker person could be called woke...

Ok, I hesitated even putting this one in because it's so old but I stumbled on it in search on IMDB looking for Vampire shows. The name of the series is Moonlight from 2007 and I had never heard of it.

It stars Alex O'Loughlin and Sophia Myles. This was 3 years before he became Steve McGarrett in the remake of Hawaii Five-0. If you like Vampire shows, love stories, and Alex O'loughlin give it a test drive. It is only one season with 16 episodes and I was really sad when it was over, I wanted MORE!!!!! He is fantastic in this and them together are awesome!!! (7.6 in IMDB)

Streams on Plex and Tubi. IMDB shows it on Prime but I couldn't find it there and watched it on Tubi.

Talk about a deep cut of a TV show. We really liked it too! Was super bummed when it was cancelled. Another show, while not about vampires, but has some lore to it, is "Brimstone". Lasted for only 13 episodes but was pretty darn good and was also bummed to see it go off the air.

If you want one that was good and ran to conclusion, "Reaper". A good little series. The character known as "Socks" is the real treat in this one.

The wife and I just finished binging S3 of Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount Plus. Super gritty show with Jeremy Renner about a smallish prison town and the balance between the rival gangs and crime factions who are fighting for power both on the inside and the outside. The story follows a family who is connected to all sides and chronicles the role they play in managing the chaos and keeping the peace. Super dark if you like that kind of drama. It also just might have the most ominous theme song I’ve ever heard.

Binged season 2. Really enjoyed it. I don't like the new guy though (Simon Wylton), feels pointless. Maybe they introduced him for some story arc in S3.

It has been a very good show and having 15 episodes is a big bonus for me in today's t.v. market.
Absolutely. These "8 episodes, then wait 2 years for the next season" schedules are killing interest in shows. I've stopped watching several series' that I really liked simply because I can't remember what happened in the previous season and have no interest in re-watching just to refresh my memory. At least the longer seasons help to shorten the distance between seasons.

We finished 1923 last night, even though we had an extra lengthy episode, it felt rushed. Overall, I preferred 1883, it was more epic. The Alexandra was the worst unluckiest character I’ve ever seen, so jinxed.

Watching Daredevil Born Again...

While the 3 seasons on Netflix and The Defenders season belonged to the best on television, Daredevil Born Again is a mixed bag.
You can see which things and episodes were of the first attempt of Disney+ and what was from the reshoots to come closer to the Netflix version. Also the core idea of the Disney+ series was already done (better) in the Netflix 3rd season.

Still I like the characters of Daredevil and Kingpin, so I'm watching it.

Netflix’s Daredevil was wonderful… so was Jessica Jones. 😍

Currently re-watching Andor in anticipation of season 2. Also waiting for the new Doctor Who season.

Next week, I believe.
Currently going through The Pitt. It's very intense, so we are only watching one episode a night. In Australia,
Noah Wyle / Dr Michael Robinavitch has a real counterpart, in Dr Gordian Fulde

Also, if I haven't mentioned it before, Dark Winds is a must watch.

You and Vampire Diaries. Just found out about You a few weeks ago and binging it before the new season on 4-24. The 5th season is about to start and somehow I totally missed this series until now. It is one of the most unique series' I've ever watched!!!!

Also, having just finished Season 3 of Reacher, I am really impressed that they could find a bloke who was even bigger than Reacher, just to give him a bit of a challenge...
YES! I couldn't believe how "tiny" reacher looked next to him after seeing reacher tower over almost everyone hahaha.

It's Reacher. Bring on season 4!

It's ok-ish. Too much personal drama though.

Oh boy, this is absolutely brilliant. I'm afraid season 2 will be a disappointment. Hard to believe they can deliver another season as good as the first. Can't wait to find out how the characters developed after 10 months though.

I just finished Adolescence and I’m shocked. The cast is amazing, acting is like nothing compared to what we usually are used to these past years in terms of TV. The themes are heartbreaking but for me, the most difficult part was to experience the pain of the father. This is one of the few shows that make you think and open your eyes of what kind of society we became.

In my top 10 of all time TV shows ever watched.
