I just discovered MurderBot on Apple TV+. It’s actually really good. It’s listed as a comedy but I’m not really laughing out loud.

I read the books last year so was looking forward to the series - and the dry humor and integration of Sanctuary Moon were things I wondered how they'd pull off ... and I have loved it so far! My wife (not a big sci fi fan) actually is really enjoying it which I am pleasantly surprised about.

We just started S2 of Nine Perfect Strangers (Hulu) which was an intriguing intro to the new location and guests. We enjoyed the first season even if it was a bit uneven.

Also in the middle of The Better Sister (Prime Video) which we're enjoying for the intrigue even if a lot of the legal and narrative stuff is all over the place. Reality is legal/cop/medical stuff we wouldn't have questioned on Matlock/Diagnosis Murder/etc. now sticks out prominently.

People are hyping Severance - I couldn’t stand many eps. - boring.
Was thinking to finish Invasion - nope - boring.

Saw some Movies at Apple TV+ instead - wrong tread so I don’t say which ones 😉
Will sign up some later when For All Mankind, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Presumed Innocent or Silo etc. comes back.

Silo, I gave up at s02s02. Severance, couldn’t go after 1 episode.

Invasion is the worst TV show ever made. I just hate-watch it, it’s so ridiculous. I’m fascinated the show is not cancelled and a new season will be released before the end of the year!

I think this might be my fifth or sixth re-watch, I thoroughly enjoy the take on the Sherlock character given by Jonny Lee Miller...

Silo I love.

The others pretty much the same for me.

I am watching one of the best Korean shows in recent years, this time at KOCOWA (the last time I watched it at viki.com). The title is, "My Dearest"

Finished MobLand, I loved it! Best show of 2025. I knew only Brosnan from GoldenEye, I didn’t know he could be such a prick portraying Conrad or as they like to say, such a c*nt, haha love the British language!

Loved the Guy Richie stuff although it’s often hit & miss with him. Good acting, funny also to show the contrast of the main protagonist from this show compared to 1929.

Then watched painfully Fubar s02. It reminded me of Scorpion in my scale of most hated TV show. It’s just so bad: bad acting, bad action scene, why a pig and my favorite are unlimited ammo and characters can dodge all bad guys shot. Terrible & unwatchable.

After a couple of "false starts", I finally managed to get into Severance. Binged first two seasons in just over a week. And now we wait for season 3.

Tulsa King on Paramount+.
When it first came out I hesitated and didn't watch it. But then seeing it was a Taylor Sheridan show, I figured it couldn't be bad. So now I'm midway through season 2. And thoroughly enjoying the show. Sly Stallone does a great job in his character.

I tried to re-watch Babylon 5. I couldn't make it through the first season.
The old school CGI takes you out of the moment. If they remastered the show with new CGI, it would be enjoyable.
I'm binging the original Urusei Yatsura series, the one from the 80s.
"Ventura, ventura, space people."🤗 I watched the fan-subbed bootleg version back in the day.

Almost done with Dept Q. The acting is very nice.

Also going through the old cop show Hunter (got the DVD set super cheap). Loved that as a kid. :p

Just have one more episode to go in my Strange New Worlds rewatch. Then I will be happy I can only remember what happened in the finale for 2 weeks instead of 2 years.

After seeing the movie 28 Years Later I thought I jump back into some zombie apocalypse shows. I really enjoyed Walking Dead so thought I would give Fear the Walking Dead a try. Not super impressed with it. I do like where it leaves off at the end of the first season, that has me intriqued to try out the second season. First season does not have me all that interested in any of the characters. I just can't put myself in their heads to understand how they act sometimes. Not a fan of the super emotional characters which seem to always be there to build tension. The world is dying around you, your mom is dead in a hospital and you are so grief ridden that you demand to see her, even fight against your family to try and get there. Things like this I find over the top, especially in high danger settings. There is more like this in the show that irks me. Hoping they will pull it around though and make me care about the characters and their survival. I know literally nothing about the show, just saw it on prime and was a fan of Walking Dead so gave it a go.
