Wildly formulaic but lots of fun, although I prefer Monk more.

What did you think of Medicis? I'm watching it now and like it.

Worst of the three.
Just missing the drama of the other two. And Dustin Hoffman is wasted. Or maybe he's just too old. Everything I've seen him in in the last 15-years has been him pretty much being the same gruff-voiced character in just a different costume.

PROS:
Unique plot line. Generally great writing with great characters & actors.
Added bonus: Some great scenes of Manhattan.

CONS:
The scene at the end of Season 1 was.... cheesy and unnecessary.
Sometimes for me the financial and legal mumbo-jumbo goes over my head.

I'd definitely recommend it. If anyone's interested, I think the first episode is on YouTube for free.

what is it about?

I discovered Outlander a couple weeks ago on Netflix... I'm completely hooked! Nearing the end of season 1...

Other than that my favorite shows these days are GOT, Homeland, Orphan Black, Sherlock, House of Cards, Daredevil...oh and the new Twin Peaks!

Just finished Grimm. Dug the ending. The episode with the creature the Weson call to take out a loved one with dementia was really sad. Was actually one of our favorite episodes of the series. Very nicely done.

Have two more episodes of The Man in The High Castle left. What a great freaking series.
