Ok so finally got to catch up with Walking Dead after 6 months of not watching due getting a new job finally catching up wit my bills, smh. Anywho, after further investigation i only missed half a season which is 8 episodes, i thought i missed more. im up to episode 11 to be exact. i really like the build up prior to the battle for season 8 which is coming up.

Let me know how it is. Jason Bateman's a decent actor, but the premise of the show isn't scratching my itch for something interesting at the moment. You seem to be a decent judge when it comes to film and TV. We'll excuse the actor in your avatar.

Ozark is really good. If you've watched Arrested Development, it might be hard to imagine Jason Bateman being a dramatic lead but I love it.

I'm watching Ozark. Great show and Jason Bateman and Laura Linney are both awesome in this Show . Oh and I love Jason in just about everything he's in

The first Horrible Bosses is good, the second one is awful. He's good with comedy, but his dramatic scenes are very good. I really feel bad about great actors who get typecast into comedy movies, and so I hope his new venture in Ozark opens many doors for him. I think the worst movie he's done was probably Identity Thief opposite Melissa McCarthy AKA Sean Spicer.

The concept of original comedy is dying and there's a lot of junk out there now. A good drama gets everyone's attention.

Ozark is really good. If you've watched Arrested Development, it might be hard to imagine Jason Bateman being a dramatic lead but I love it.

I'm halfway through Ozark. (I made myself a promise I wasn't going to binge-watch Netflix shows as much as I had been doing. There isn't a TV show in the universe it's worth staying indoors a whole summer weekend for.)

Ozark owes a few debts to Breaking Bad. Both stylistically, and from a subject-matter strandpoint. Which is both a good thing, and a bad thing. From what I've seen of Season 1, the plotline isn't quite as tightly gripping as that of BB: Mostly we seem to have Bateman popping from one shady enterprise to another, encountering a cast of stock-Gothic Southern characters along the way. I tell myself it takes even the best shows (and their writers) a season or two to really find their groove, so if there is a Season 2 of Ozark, we'll have an opportunity to find out.

Highlight for me: Radiohead's Decks Dark playing the outro sequence to Episode 1. That told me a lot about the people who made this show. If nothing else, their hearts are in the right place.

I am assuming you liked the show? What is funny, I have heard of the show and even read some of the people here commenting on the show, but never paid that much attention to it. We subscribed to HBO NOW for GOT, and thought might as well start one of their other shows and The Wire was first up. Both me and the wife are so glad we did. Have absolutely loved the show.

Some of the scenes with Jimmy have had me freaking laughing, in stitches...

That was some amazing television. I just watched some episodes again last week. Think seasons 2 and 4 are my favorites.

Season 2 has been our favorite. Of course we have a two episodes left on season 5, but season 2 was great!

I love how they tied other seasons into the show throughout the different seasons. Good stuff.
