Well, all this #savetheexpanse campaign and amazon intervention look like an elaborate PR stunt to me....

Anyways, quality sci-fi...glad the series will go on
Possibly, but it seems like SyFy was getting rid of it no matter what basically, so whatever keeps it going is worth it.

Currently deep into Sense8 (just got through the first episode of season 2), still got the last 4 episodes of the first season of Handmaid's Tale to hit and, now that it's been renewed, all of Lucifer season 3. Then there's Preacher to return too afterwards... Oh my...

A 2001 spin off from the original X Files show.

Eerily, the pilot episode of this show has a plot line of a plane being flown by remote control into the World Trade Center about 5 months before it actually happened.

Just watched the pilot episode of The Americans yesterday evening. I had never heard anything about the show other than the premise, and that it was "ok" (a critique by a pal who's not really known for liking, well, things), so when I had an hour to kill I hopped on over to Netflix and fired up the first episode.

By the time that great Tusk-remix had ended I was hooked, and the storylines being developed plus In the Air Tonight playing later in the episode sealed the deal. Good thing I have the evening off from work tonight, I know what I'm going to be doing.

Loved The American's! Somehow didn't finish S3 back then but am mostly waiting for the right time to finish it so that I can fully appreciate it.

Started Luke Cage S2 and holy S*!% - really like it! S1 was a bit rough and flawed and I mostly still liked it because of its general style and soundtrack (and because I found Dimondback to be a great cheesy villain) but S2 is awesome. Nice plot so far and the main antagonist is plain badass! Thumbs up!

It's one of the most well reviewed/received shows of the last several years!

It appears the show just recently aired it's series finale, so once the final season hits your preferred medium, a marathon might be in order!

Yeah, after some careful googling I've learned this as well. No idea how I managed to avoid it for this long, but I sure am glad for once going into a show completely blind!

That is how we will be finishing it off, we just ran out of viewing time after season three so we will binge the last two seasons.

Just finished this one: We loved it and can't wait for season two. It is only six episodes long.

Thoroughly (Re)enjoying this…
An oldie but a very goodie. First saw it way back when it first appeared.

BBC's Secret Army.
1978 - 1979.

"When the Gestapo invite you to a Garden Party…"

Yes, the whole thing is very obviously studio bound… the exterior sets when they open doors are painfully badly painted.
But, the story line(s) are gripping the acting more than adequate.
Just need a Stella and some Frites by my side.

And I do love Bernard Hepton. First got to "know" him via another great couple of BBC series: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Smiley's People.

For those who know 'Allo, 'Allo, this is the series on which that comedy was based.

While I wouldn't call it binging, we have been catching up with "Cloak and Dagger" on the DVR. Another winning production in the Marvel super hero universe. Takes place in New Orleans (the comic is NYC based). It's really quite a good series. We're enjoying it.

It has an interesting tone to it and has been entertaining so far. I'm familiar with the characters of Cloak and Dagger from being a Marvel comic reader in the 80's, but my knowledge of them is minimal at best since I didn't collect or avidly read their title specifically. It's been quite the slow burn so far.

Still going with NCIS (I am at S10 now).
Doing a re-watch of Twin Peaks (I am at S2 E10)

Anyone here knows is NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans are worth the time?

Boom, boom boom boom gets me reaching for the remote!
I've given up on LA and NCIS. NCIS killed off way too many characters and the I didn't finish the last LA episode of the season. Just terrible and cliche. I'm trying to find a new show to dive into but most of today's shows are science fiction and I'm not a fan.

Yeah we (my wife and I) watched a season or two of NCIS after Anthony left and … we can't really stand it anymore. Michael Weatherly was my favorite character in NCIS. Bought the first season of Bull because of him and kinda like it. Still haven't found a great TV series yet. We're making our way through Justified (almost done) but we're not a huge fan of it - tho Walton Goggins is amazing.

I highly recommend these series for script values and production;
Watching season 4 “6 feet’s under”
House season 3
Game of moans season 5
Does mlb count?

Yeah I am still at season 10 and I dread the day Anthony (and now Abby) will leave. Anthony is by far the true soul of the show. I mean, Gibbs is a great character but he’s less... human.
