Yeah we (my wife and I) watched a season or two of NCIS after Anthony left and … we can't really stand it anymore. Michael Weatherly was my favorite character in NCIS. Bought the first season of Bull because of him and kinda like it. Still haven't found a great TV series yet. We're making our way through Justified (almost done) but we're not a huge fan of it - tho Walton Goggins is amazing.
I only saw the first three episodes of Bull and put it aside thinking it would get canceled. I don't have terribly high hopes for the upcoming Rookie series with Nathan Fillon. Ziva and Tony carried the show after Mike Franks was killed and they ran out of storyline. The Jenny Shepherd arch was intense.

Funny, we watched the first 3 episodes of Bull too and … left it there. :p

Very much agreed about your NCIS comments. Will look into The Rookie - I like that actor.

We binged through Castle. It's a very addictive show and the multi-arch stories are fascinating.

Will check out Castle too. I think we're nearing the end of Justified and my wife really wants new series to watch. Thanks!
We'll have to check that out ourselves! Castle reminded me very much of Life starring Damien Lewis and Sarah Shahi. I watched that alone on Hulu years ago because it only ran for two seasons. It was done well and had a very interesting plot, but it wasn't something you could stretch out over multiple seasons. That, and, I believe the SAG strikes messed with the show.

Watched the first season of Life, that was a good show.

Just finished Ozark

Just finished Ozark now.

I really enjoyed it, but 10 episodes is not enough for what they were trying to achieve. I feel they rushed several things and it should really have been more like 13-15 episodes covering the same timeline.

It has an interesting tone to it and has been entertaining so far. I'm familiar with the characters of Cloak and Dagger from being a Marvel comic reader in the 80's, but my knowledge of them is minimal at best since I didn't collect or avidly read their title specifically. It's been quite the slow burn so far.
Just watched the latest episode and I am very pleased with the pace and story. Was really glad to see they used the old, abandoned 6 Flags outside NOLA for filming. It was a nice touch.

The wife and I binged the first season of The Punisher on Netflix over the past week. I thought they did a great job with it. I wanna know what the show’s budget was for fake blood, man there was a lot. ;)

My wife binged 3 episodes of Royal Pains while I bottled 2 gallons of mead and 2 gallons of cherry cider.

I stopped watching that show in the summer of 2011. Wasn't bad from what I remember. Is cherry cider made using typing bing variety cherries or the bitter and tart kinds?

Dunno.

Costco carries a cherry juice, I added it to apple juice in 1:4 and 1:2 mixes to try it out. Fermented it comes out really tart. They might call for a simple syrup to cut the tartness.

As far as Royal Pains, I don't care for any of the characters really, so it was just background noise. At least none of the cast is unattractive. Except the "flat tire" lady. And any of the older guys. I guess that's by design?

I never noticed what they look like.

Cherry juice? You sure? The only cherry juice I know of is the POM pomegranate and cherry blend.

Yes, it's straight cherry juice. We also got to try their Cucumber-Mint-Lime. That was drinkable right from the get-go.

I've never seen the cherry juice before, but I love their cran-raspberry juice.

Wait, never mind. I know what you're talking about now. Yes, round bottle. White label with a bunch of writing. I think I skipped that because of the sugar content. I buy the tart cherry juice from TJ's when I can remember, along with the cranberry. No sugar at all.

Netflix India just launched Sacred Games (it's available on US Netflix as well I believe). 8 episodes, but if it wasn't for my work schedule I'd have watched all 8 episodes in one sitting (~45 mins - 1 hr long per episode).

I'd recommend watching it in Hindi with English subs since it has a different effect, but you can watch it in English as well.

We need Breaking Bad II
Better Call Saul isn't the same thing, but definitely covers various elements in that same universe and has a similar feel to it in many aspects.

They've already said there won't be an HD 4:3 version.

Is it odd I've never binged on a show? For some reason I enjoy watching weekly, even if it's a show on Netflix. I think it helps immerse viewers into the world more on a subconscious level when you're watching over a longer period of time.

CASA DE PAPEL on Netflix...started to watch it with doubts but it blew my mind. I highly reccommend it

HBO is having a preview weekend, so my wife and I are trying to watch the first season of Westworld.

So, we finished the first season of Westworld. It was ok, but, I'm not rushing to subscribe to HBO or figure out some other way to watch season 2. My wife liked it more than me.
