Finished Luke Cage S2 - loved it! Imho the best with the Punisher series. Not a fan of the Iron Fist dude but that cameo was rather nice and at least there is a nod to Heroes for Hire. Main villain / antagonist was awesome!

The Heroes for Hire nod was my favorite part of the season. To me, it dragged on a little to long towards the end with the female baddy. That story line dragged on. Same thing happened with JJs2. The mom character was too much.

I would have rather seen them, do away with Mom in LC an episode or two before the season finale and leave us hanging with the Daughter who will most likely take over.

Did you like Daredevil? To me season one of DD is still my favorite.

Yep - DD was great on its own although in retrospect it did drag a bit as well in parts and the opponents were too difuse. I think it got major bonus points for being the first Marvel Netflix show (and because it was indeed well done). The side-kicks are ok but I found the ones among Luke much better overall (the kid's a bit annoying). Also I really dig the musical aspect at LC which is just awesome and fits extremely well. Bushmaster was the best villain by far in any Netflix/Marvel show imho. Kingpin's a close second. Let's see how Jigsaw does in Punisher S2.

The mom character was indeed a bit much (as was his father - the guy from the Wire) but didn't really annoy me that much and they could've cut the season by an episode or so but all in all I found it really enjoyable. Glad Luke's girlfriend took a long time-out tough.

I expect good stuff from the Daughter! :D

What I like best is that LC has a good balance and vibe overall. Not too serious, not overall comical, some nods to the past here and there and a good comic vibe altogether.

The showrunner for Luke Cage started out in the music industry, can't remember what exactly he did, but at some point he made music videos. When he was interviewed he loves music and I agree with what you said, it fit nicely in with the series.

I really dug Bushmaster. The first encounter between him and Luke Cage was great! The look on Luke's face when he realizes what he is up against! Priceless.

Looking forward to Punisher Season 2!

I just finished the first season of 13 Reasons why. Very well made, and really makes you stop and think how you treat people. You truly never know what someone else is going through.

Now it’s on the second season. Not really sure what to expect. I felt like that season 1 could have been it, but I am not unhappy they did another one. Hopefully it’s almost as good as the first season.

Currently, Big Mouth when I'm alone, and Arrested Development and Lost in Space with family.

Argh! Turns out there’s only one season of Big Mouth on Netflix. I’ve finished it for now.

Longmire on Netflix:
its good enough during the work commute or at lunch
its like watching Crime Stoppers for Wyoming
each episode is self contained
at least for now the episodes have a set plot format they follow
the scenery is nice, characters and acting are good enough

Orange is the new Black;
got through the first episode
its just was too dark and cruel, too many busted ribs.

Really? I thought season 1 was incredible! Well the subject matter was very difficult to take, but it was very well made and made me think a lot.

I am on episode 7 of season 2, and I feel like they really changed the story so far. Made Hannah someone she wasn’t in the first. I want to finish it before I make any final judgments though. Just not spoilers please lol.

I'm currently listening to the music from the TV show Mad Men. That was such a great show. I decided to re-watch it again and added it to my Netflix list. I'll start S1 E1 tomorrow.
