I'm currently listening to the music from the TV show Mad Men. That was such a great show. I decided to re-watch it again and added it to my Netflix list. I'll start S1 E1 tomorrow.

Just finished season 2 of 13 reasons why. Thought the first season was really well made (don’t want to say great because of the subject matter). I really think the writers did a good job on that one. Season 2 for the most part was a miss for me. Completely changed the story for me. In the end it felt like they tried to bring it back, and almost did, but just missed. Who knows what season 3 will hold.

I will say I hate the criticism of Hannah not being likable of relatable. Maybe she wasn’t relatable to some, but I knew that girl in high school. Also could really relate to Clay. That was me in high school. Anyways I thought season 1 could have just been it. Maybe season 3 redeems it.

Debbie turns out to be one ruthless individual in this season. Properly so, but man talk about a woman scorned. Yikes.

yup.

Maron's character, Sam, redeemed himself. But Maron as an actor ... meh. Not a fan of him in this show or his own self named show.

There should not be a season 3 unless GLOW was thing after they moved to Vegas.

Netflix also has a documentary about GLOW. I'll have to check that out too...

I think that is how I remember them, they were at a casino in Vegas on like channel 11 at midnight or something.

Well they won't let a good thing die so it will get milked.

Maron in the first season was always mad and always saying, "...f**king", or "f**k it..". IMHO his emotional range was weak and unbelievable. He did get better though.

Have to strike while it is hot. After reading the article, I can't tell if it will be a big role or small one. The whole "Joker" movie has me intrigued, especially since it isn't coming out of the Snydverse.

We've been catching up on "Parts Unknown" that we had recorded on the DVR. Watched Hong Kong and Berlin last night. Kinda sad to watch, knowing that Tony is now gone. On the slightly brighter side ZPZ Productions said they might have enough already in the can for an additional season. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'm mostly just confused. *~* *~*

DC should just look at how Marvel successfully cross marketed, created a unified universe - I mean, it's the old comic model with cross over titles ... it works. They were doing this, and then out of left left, a standalone movie, with a character that's already been introduced (with a specific design and actor), and now, something totally different[?]

Not to mention, it sounds like they are looking at several different Joker movies. Should be interesting. Seems like the heads at DC/WB are all over the place right now.

I'm into those *Super Hero* series :D
Like Daredevil, Defenders, Iron Fist....some Punisher blood
Some Sci-Fi: The Crossing, Timeless. Some romance: Outlander.
Some crime: Elementary
Older ones...Agents of Shield, Arrow, Flash, ZOO, GOT...
I save episodes and look at many at once in down times.

In light of the great news that Patrick Stewart is reprising his role of Captain Jean-Luc Picard I put on Star Trek TNG tonight.

Not that I need an excuse to watch any Star Trek of course. Actually, I watch at least 1 episode of Star Trek (any series) almost every day.

I picked up where I left off on TNG from the other day and wouldn't you know, the masterful 2-part episode "Unification" was up next. I know that @Scepticalscribe had very recently watched this remarkable set of episodes.

Loved them then and still love them now.

Great choice.

Omg, another serie I'm following
Guess I'll have to leave some of the old ones behind.
Not Star Trek though.
Had forgot that one. Will be interesting to see Mr. StarTrek himself however in the new Star Trek Discovery.

Finished up "Cloak and Dagger" from Marvel. It was a really good show. The writing was exceptional and the story flowed perfectly from start to finish. Good acting by all involved. I really cannot wait till it comes back in the Spring.

I just finished binging "Steven Universe." It has been quite a while since I have found a TV show founded on love, and that many of the protagonists aren't even human but have a genuine affection for one another. I love how Steven believes in working things out, rather than fighting, as the first course of action.
