Did you buy the season or are you streaming it through a service? My wife and I watched season 1 on Amazon Prime a few months ago, but didn't find season 2 anywhere.

Californication is definitely fun in an escapist kind of way. :D

The first 2 seasons are on Xfinity on Demand, so that's where I've been watching them.

We have Uverse and sadly there are no BBC programs available on demand. However, we checked Amazon Prime again today and the 2nd season is now available there. I can only assume they added it for greater publicity as season 3 will be beginning soon. We started catching up today. Great show.

I just started watching House of Cards about a week ago. I'm already on season 2. It has been consuming 90% of my free TV time. :)

Are you watching the American version or the British version? I finished the British version, Ian Anderson made a great villain.

Which TV Series Are You Binging On?

House M.D, Supernatural, Bates Motel, The Blacklist, and House of Cards.

I guess it's not binging, but i've been watching lots of Friends recently. Don't really feel like getting invested in a show at the moment.

Finished season 2 of Orphan Black and are ready to watch the new episodes when they begin to air in April. I find this show to be really fascinating. The lead actress does a great job playing the multiple versions of herself and it's neat to see how the finished product comes together when there is a scene with 3 or 4 of her all taking part together.

Next up on our binge list is the new season of House of Cards.

Magic City. Watched its 2 seasons. Almost didn't stay with it for its B actor take on Mad Men meets Sopranos while infused with Playboy channel. Jewish family owns the largest hotel in Miami Beach as the year is turning from 1959 to 1960. Jewish mob acquires partial control of the hotel. Hispanics fill out some primary and peripheral roles. Great period clothes, decor, cars, naked chicks. James Caan arrives 2nd season and adds some gravitas. Originally a Starz production.

We started Californication. After more intense series grounded in the real world, we wanted something a little more "escapist" (but not a "genre" show as they say...) :) So far, it's terrific, tonally exactly what we were hoping for, the umm, lifestyle vibe totally clicks with us, and we're both fans of DD :D

Finished up the first two seasons over the last couple of weeks (it's a 1/2 hour show, so a 12 EP season goes quick).

Well dang. Many people were right about the decline of the series over the 7 seasons. Here's how I'd break it down:

1-4 are terrific, a solid A, tonally consistent, fun, funny with a nice sprinkling of sexy.

5-6 I'd say maybe a B-, they're a little more absurd, that's kind of OK, the show had to escalate things, some of the new characters were fun, and while many of rifts were repeated, there was some interesting plot developments

7 I've give a C-, and _only_ because I kind of dug on the ending, it relegates _main_ characters to just a few EPs, and introduces an absolutely terrible character.

Overall, probably a B+

Also, you can EASILY stop watching at the end of S4, it's a beautiful series ending.

Halfway through season 3 of The Killing. Great acting and complicated plot line. It moves at a slow cilp and allows for complex character development.

I only watched the first season of that show, but i really did like it. I think season 2 is available on prime. Or at least it was when I looked a few months ago
