Yup... agreed. I kinda wished they would have ended it with those who died, stayed that way though, but that is just me. LOL
Lol. Spoiler alert! But yes I think it was obvious they weren’t going to stay that way. To be honest the voice of that Diana child really grated on me. Very wooden performance.

Episode 5 ... I just can't even ...

Episode 5 was pretty hard core. I was talking with coworker who had watched it the night before. Dude is a harder-core guy, rough around the edges...said he had to leave the house after watching it because it shook him up enough.

I'm really curious what you thought about Episode 6. Just the amount of work that went into it...

currently following Under the Dome

Im at the part where they throw the egg over the cliff.

I watched that show when it came out. First season was pretty good (even with bad acting). Second season started to get a little too Sci-Fi for me, but I stuck with it. Third season...I made it about 3-4 episodes in and turned it off. Never finished it. Way too sci-fi at that point.

anyone watching black earth rising? it's a political thriller, but has an interesting storyline dealing with geopolitical stuff entwined with Rwandan genocide and the international criminal court

‘The Bodyguard’ on BBC 1 staring Richard Madden (aka Rob Stark GOT) lol, great little series and hope there is a second.

Going to give that a try in lieu of all the reccos I'm getting for halloween horror films, in which I have trouble manufacturing enough interest (or perhaps enough tolerance of horror movies except for kid stuff).

For me it's thrillers yeah sometimes, adult halloween horrors no.

Wow, yeah, the technical execution was stunning in EP6 (both the scenes from the house and the funeral home). Plus, holy smokes, that jump scare? Pants were pooped ...

Something like that for me too. But I can't recall where I dropped it. Wasn't the sci-fi in itself that made me drop it though. I love good sci-fi. Some series just lose it for me. I just got bored :D

Just finished Daredevil s3. Pretty sure it will be a s4 too.

Watched DVD 1, half of the season, of Killing Eve. Wife and I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next disc to be delivered. Its kind of like HBO's Barry, quirky, dark humor.

It’s very tounge in check. We like it. But couldn’t you watch it on BBC iPlayer for free. Assuming your not in the UK, you’d just need a VPN based here.

I might be able to. I didn’t even think of trying anything else.
Good isn’t it? Got a bit of a thing for Jodie Comer too. :p

Yeah...

Just started the book it’s based on. I haven’t read a book in forever. It’s really good but a totally different style.

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned the Netflix-show Bodyguard, and when I stumbled upon it yesterday evening I decided to give it a shot. I only got to watch the first episode, but I really liked it. The Brits have in the past produced good shows covering similar themes (I still miss Spooks), so I'm excited to continue watching this. Obviously I'm not certain where this show's going genre-wise, but if it's anything like what the first episode hints at, I'm game.

edit: About 10 hours later and that's it for season one. A good show, hopefully they will do another season.

I enjoyed it. Also agree Spooks was excellent.

Just started watching Patrick Melrose yesterday - no idea where it's going but the start was awesome.

Just watched the first episode of House of Cards. Never got to watching the show until now, but I might as well start as I've only heard good things about it. Based on the first episode, I can see myself liking it quite a bit. Need to watch a few more episodes before heading off to work later, just to make sure I'm willing to commit to six whole seasons.

Finished killing eve season one today and also the first book of what is going to be a trilogy. Kind of disappointed in the ending of season one but it is a great show. Could have sworn we had a killing eve thread but my search came up negative.

My wife and I watched the first episode of The Americans. I thought it was really good, my wife was thought it was so-so. Not sure if we'll continue to watch it.
