I'll check it out.Seems like as good a thread as any to ask this, so here goes.
Anyone here watch Marianne on Netflix? I watched the two first episodes in a row a while back, and it seemed promising enough (though not as good as the reviews that sing it's praise), but then I just forgot about it and was wondering if it's actually worth watching all the way through.
I do remember reading a tweet from Stephen King himself where he said it was great, but still. Any more opinions from you fine folks?
Finished Schitts Creek a few weeks ago. Really enjoyed it.
Then just finished Fleabag - this weekend. Enjoyed that one as well.
Started “The Purge” series (on Hulu). Marianne is on our list next.
Nice.
Schitt's Creek is fun, some of my favorites.
Fleabag is __genious__.
We stared The Purge, it was pretty good (the whole sacrificial cult plot was really good), some interesting exploration of goings-in within the Purge universe, we're getting ready to finish S1, in preparation for S2 (premiers Oct 15th).
I'm going to stream ep.1 of the new season of the Flash tonight. I've been watching the new CW shows on streaming CW App the day after they air. Batwoman, Supergirl and Black Lightning have all been very good!My wife and I are currently watching the 5th season of The Flash on Netflix.
I recall that. I remember the sound track as well. Was that really nearly 40 years ago? Scary.Robin of Sherwood, an outstanding British TV series from the 1980s, with a superb soundtrack by Clannad.

I recall they changed the lead actor for the third series. At least that’s how I recall it.I recall that it was seriously brilliant at the time - we discussed it at university - and I got the soundtrack - the first music I had ever had by Clannad - as a LP, subsequently, the following Christmas.
Re the DVD, I only got the first series, because that is the series I saw (and loved; in terms of the fusion of mythology, history, atmospherics, lighting, setting - real castles - acting and script, it is absolutely brilliant).
In fact, it is considered to be so good, that it has become the '"accepted version" of how this tale is told in the modern era.
However, when I have finished with this, I may well order the second series. Historically, it is considered to have been as good as the first series.
The third series, if memory serves, didn't reach the exceptionally high standards of the first two.

I recall the show but never watched Dynasty. Not really my bag. They did, (Michael Praed, who played an excellent Robin of Loxley, for the first and second series, was tempted by stardom, and - at pretty short notice - accepted a role in Dynasty - remember that? and so had to be written out of the script and series, and was replaced by Jason Connery, son of Sean, who was described as "wooden" in the lead role), and it was massively to the detriment of the series, to my mind.

I'm getting into Dark anyone watch it?
As I recall there were a few seasons. Definitely watchable.I'm getting into Dark anyone watch it?
One of Netflix's best shows. Might even be my favorite one of the bunch, but definitely not a show you can watch while doing something else. Pay attention and it will pay off!
Really top tier stuff.
