It never stops being comical watching an Apple-hater/troll spin themselves into the ground.

First, it was "buy an android tablet, they're great". Oh wait, you mean there aren't any real choices to do that? Okay, then just forget that you might want a tablet at all, and just settle for an underpowered p.o.s. netbook.

Thanks for the laugh.

Honestly though, what is the functionality of a tablet period? smaller than a laptop, bigger than a netbook, less functional than both.
You basically bought and oversized ipod touch =).
but jobs said you need it, and that makes it important.
besides, the vodka isn't helping me not make an ass of myself.

No, it certainly is not.

Just out of curiosity, what "made it important" for you to register for this forum today and start trolling? Are you so jealous of happy iPhone/iPad users that you simply couldn't stay away? So unimpressed/dissatisfied with your motodroid that you had to try to spread your negativity amongst a group of people who are the most satisfied tech users in customer surveys year in and year out? Seriously, what malfunction brings people like you here?

It's more then just an over sized ipod touch. I know. I also own a 32GB second gen. I got my 64GB iPad yesterday. I used to say the same thing until I got one in my hands. I have not once been on my laptop today.

Perhaps you need to drink a bit more vodka for that to work

awesome, another flash thread. This topic is really interesting and hasn't really been discussed before.

Well now that there are 80 posts on my query I think its time to move on. I never thought my question would cause such a s**t storm. I have had my Ipad for 8 days now and have found it the most intuitive piece of gear I ever bought. There was almost no learning curve involved. I think I just expected more from the first generation. I have yet to get my photo adapter from apple (back ordered) but I understand from what I read so far I don't think the Ipad is going to do what I want it to. I was hoping to avoid buying a laptop to store, sort and veiw my raw photos when I go out shoot for a couple of days but all in all I think I'm hooked and will most likely buy the next generation when it hits the shelves. And yes I'll be getting a mac pro as soon as they update.
For my last bitch I wish apple would make the keyboard layout on the iphone and the ipad the same.
Mike

Say bye bye to your laptop, I haven't touched mine in weeks
