Back to the usual deflections. You said something and then it was shown in your own words that you said the exact opposite of it. There's just no running around any that.
No you are just nitpicking at grammar. When I Say my devices are usable I mean the devices which I use daily.I could also nitpick and state that I never said ALL of my iDevices are usable.

One would wonder why a person who hates a company's products so much would continue to buy that company's products then spend so much time posting so many incendiary posts on a site dedicated to that company's products. And doing so in the full knowledge that such posts would elicit a defensive response from people who enjoy that company's products.

Personally, I don't go to an Android site to tell them about my Note 4 that is working perfectly well as a coaster. Or the SGS5 I pitched in the bin at work because it was literally nothing but trash. If I went to, say, Android Central to bemoan everything that went wrong and how I feel Samsung is equivalent to landfill material, and that I'm not giving them any more money, and that my agency decided to ditch Samsung after so much of the staff returned so many SGS5s, then I would be accused of being an instigator. And rightfully so.

i think i have read several trillions times on every possible messages the same story about one little agency. somewhere behind the rainbow there was a workplace where all tiny little workers went just nuts because of samsung and they became so frustrated that they all were duying of misery until apple came riding by a white horse and saved all these little unhappy workers by throwing them phones from the miraculous pink sack. after that miraculous day the shareprice went to the sky and everybody was just smiling...

i think im going to cut my wrists open on the next time if i read it once again.

Well my husband's company went from BlackBerry to Samsung and they dumped them for Apple. iPhones and tablets. They're deploying some Macs as well for developers.

You might be interested to know that my agency is not "a little agency."

Don't slash your wrists. It's messy. And I don't want that on my conscience.

So let me get this straight. We are gonna count the devices I don't even use much now?Thats called nitpicking.I got an iPhone 4 with a cracked screen but otherwise functional lying in a drawer. So that's also counted?

I use my iPad for web browsing,Excel sheets, watching movies, heavy gaming so a tablet which can only play videos is as good as useless for me.The settings screen takes 5 seconds to display. There is heavy keyboard input lag and spotlight has a 1 second pause before drawing down

We don't have to step out beyond this thread, but clearly this has been an ongoing pattern:

I am starting to see things your way.A tablet purchased for 300 bucks is not unusable if it can play videos and even reloading at that too.Got it
There is a bunch of the bolded going around. That tends to happen then one gets into the details of these conversations.

No, I'm pointing out actual inconsistencies, while you are trying to spin them to deflect or cover things up. It all speaks for itself though quite well.

But if someone pays over $650 for a phone. It should be very similar to the hardware of other phones. 720 LCD screen in 2016 is a joke. 16GB as well. The iPhone 5 was an excellent value for 2012. But not the 6/6S
I just don't get these kind of comments. If you're not happy, buy something else.

If you're insistent on staying with Apple, then you've no option but to pick from their offerings. But there's no point in moaning if you're not prepared to try the alternatives.

Not in the least. You are simply misintrpreting everything whether thats on purpose remains to be seen

Fairly sure over many posts about your iOS 9 usage you've at least implied as much if not actually satated it at some point.

Here you quote this post of mine

Apple wants us to upgrade which is why they have rendered all A5 chipset devices unusable with iOS 9.I wouldnt wish my iPad Mini on my worst enemy and I mean it

The iPad Mini 1 IS UNUSABLE.THAT is the very reason why I bought an Air 2 128GB in the first place. Its a throwaway tablet I only keep lying around partly for videos and partly JUST to see how far Apple continues to screw it up till its not even good for videos.(It already cant keep a movie in memory without reloading after I unlock my screen(

So much logic (and/or just plain truthfulness) lost right there... Your devices "are not unusable" yet your iPad mini 1 "its unusable"--you can't have it both ways, it just doesn't work like that. And then "its unusable but great for Netflix"--something that is unusable is by very definition can't be used at all, let alone be great for anything that it can actually be used for. I mean this is almost beyond silly.

And you completely ignore the context within which it was said. You need to learn what a TABLET is SUPPOSED to be used for.You need to KNOW how the iPad Mini 1 was performing on iOS 7.AND IN THAT context when you see what happened to it in iOS 9 where (and I have posted 5 videos on this) the keyboard takes 4 SECONDS to catch up with my input I think it clearly classifies as being unusable.

You said you never said that you had an unusable device when you clearly said that before (and on many occasions). It's as simple as that. (And that is but one example of such "inconsistencies".)

I'm actually very close to pulling the trigger on the Galaxy S7 Edge and I have never thought that I would consider anything but apple for my phone. My only hold back is iMessage and the years of data I have on my phone but believe most can be pulled over. I really feel apple is falling so far behind on iOS that switching is becoming very compelling

So should I mention the iPhone 4 lying in my room never taken out of the drawer for 2 years is usable?

Or the grass simply seems greener as they say, which happens even when people are with something good but something different that has been good as well or has gotten better compared to what it was becomes something interesting even simply from the point of view that it's different and new.

I'll admit that "boredom" with iOS is definitely part of the reason, but actually seeing some of the more powerful android features and customization it's becoming more compelling. I was in a raffle at my kids school and won a Samsung tablet. Thought it would be on eBay after a bit and find myself enjoying it. But seeing things the S7 has - waterproof, screen, specs it's becoming tempting...

iPhone 4 can't even run iOS 9 so it'd be rather irrelevant to this, aside from the deflection that it's being thrown in for. That said, haven't you pointed out before that you didn't really use iOS prior to iOS 8, and suddenly there are all these mentions of older devices...seems like just more and more "inconsistencies".

The problem with absolute statements is that they allow for no room for context. "Unusable" is far too strong a word, especially if you follow that up with "except for xxx".

I presently have 6 tablets in this rough form factor in our household. In reverse order of which we bought them
  • iPad Mini 4 (2015)
  • Kindle Fire 7 (2015)
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (2014)
  • Dell Venue Pro 8 (2013)
  • iPad Mini 1 (2013)
  • Kindle Fire [original] (2011)
The only one of those that is really painful to use is the original Kindle Fire. If you think that 4 seconds to catch up with input is unusable, you really don't want to try that one at all! Plus, it weighs about as much as an iPad 1 and has a very muddy display.

The rest are all really quite usable for the tasks they are decent at. The iPad Mini 4, of course, is the most responsive and all around useful. it also cost 2-6 times as much as the other devices.

The Mini 1 is slow, but also far less painful to use than either the full size iPad 1 or iPad 3 by the time I abandoned them.

I get FAR more frustrated using the Galaxy Tab and Dell Venue Pro 8 than I do the iPad Mini 1, mainly due to the inconsistencies of their behavior. The Tab reboots at random, and the DVP8's on screen keyboard is just bad which makes tablet use questionable. It's really not a bad little Windows machine when paired with a BT keyboard and mouse.

The Kindle Fire 7 is also not the most responsive of devices, nor does it have great display but I accept that as it only cost me US$65 so it provides decent value.

If I could find a Windows 10 tablet in this 7-8" form factor with the general build quality of my work issued Surface Pro 3 (i.e. better display and digitizer than my DVP8) I'd snap it up in a heartbeat, even though I still find the SP3 to be a better notebook than a tablet. (FWIW, right now the family's only other full size tablet is an iPad Air).

Not really interested as one who get all excited as its always xmas time with Apple users.
Not been buying as of late,,, not because their not anything worthy, just I do not need it.. Personal experience..

I think users gets over-hyped as ones who must buy everything just because its from Apple, lesser actual cases would be because they "need" it, instead of "wanting" it. unless your a reviewer, in which case u buy everything u can get your hands on.

My iphone 4 is an ipod and works very well for that. It's nice not to drag around my 6s when exercising and I have the VZW messages app installed to get my text messages. (too bad wifi calling isn't available in that version)
