My comment was simply on being able notice something vs not as applied to something quite obvious vs something much less so that has been waived around as being horrible and being astonishing as to how other people just can't see it.
It really doesnt matter because IIRC there are apps on Android which negate the issue. On the other hand there is no solution for stutter

And that still has nothing to do with the observation I made.

Ah so thats burn in.Sorry but I never really saw it on any AMOLED displays I own till now.More to the point, one defective screen does not mean all S6 Edge suffer from it.FYI,I personally encountered a different type of issues with Apple's LCD.You know, the infamous yellow tint issue which is over a 100 pages on macrumors for both the 6 and the 6s and keeps popping up every time a new iPhone is released.Let me tell you,it took nearly 5 tries for my iPhone 6 and 2 for my Air 2 before I won the screen lottery

660x880xiphone-6-screen-yellow-tint.jpg.pagespeed.ic._cGYn5vZRC.jpg

This does not mean all 6 suffer from this issue but also proves that Apple's LCDs also have similar problems.Thing is burn in problems are lesser in number than YELLOW TINT on an LCD.Another reasons why AMOLEDs are superior. The white is more even than on an LCD

Omg, that problem has nothing to do with it being LCD or not, it's a manufacturing problem, becuase they use an environment friendly glue!

No, there aren't, the only thing they do, is burn even more!

Gotta be in it to win it
I suggest you read this article instead of beating around the bush.I know it's an Android site but offers a very insightful read on why Apple's iPhone sales are going to be on a decline

http://www.androidauthority.com/the...mobile-os-has-sees-market-share-gains-670288/
Did the article state why records were broken last quarter. I can almost for certain say it didn't. I'll read the article if you read the wiki and describe why businesses first priority is to provide a service not be greedy as alleged.

Why do you still lose your time in this forum making samsung marketing? I understand your critics to performance and all that (even tough exaggerated) on iOS, but if you like Samsung so much, why don't you just use that phone? What I don't understand is your crusade, I don't see the point. If you like AMOLED so much, use a phone with an AMOLED display. I hate the colors on Samsung devices, because most of the time –as others say– they look completely unrealistic. People makes their choices in freedom. I don't use a Samsung phone because the UI is absolutely hideous, and I don't want Samsung crapware on my phone. With a Nexus device you have more chances to win my affection for Android. But a S6 Edge? Please...

I feel Intel is letting us down, the various battery suppliers are letting us down, and the music and movie content owners are letting us down.

Really so AMOLED technology is half baked?
AMOLED technology with its limits and a pen tile matrix ? I'm very happy Apple hasn't switch yet...

What am I supposed to see here?
burn in... one of the few drawbacks of AMOLED technology.

yep.
He's not alone, but he's a good example of people keep bashing Apple in EVERY SINGLE THREAD they join.
Apple isn't forcing anyone to buy their products.
I don't like Samsung's smartphones, so I'm not posting FUD on Android central about it.
On MR forums there is a well established community of haters...

But if someone pays over $650 for a phone. It should be very similar to the hardware of other phones. 720 LCD screen in 2016 is a joke. 16GB as well. The iPhone 5 was an excellent value for 2012. But not the 6/6S

you would think that, based on a Windows background.. but in the Apple world its the reverse of that. Software on Apple, hardware = not as much... I still sneeze at the thought of spending $2000 effectively for a Mac with no where near as good as specs as equivalent PC's i would pay few hundred dollars cheaper for, but i have to keep reminding myself of this fact from Apple. Mostly design..... Security may be telling, u can be just as secure on Windows if u know what u are doing.. So that is more of a marketing scheme is some way.

I mean, you want battery life. you want support, u'r gonna pay for it.... No one is gonna offer good support for nothing.

Colorado Springs USA for now
In many ways. Like the stability of iOS 9 on the new iPhones isn't smooth like iOS 6 was for the 5 and the hardware is too expensive for 16GB of base storage. Not a terrible phone but I feel as if Apple is around 2 years behind everyone else. There software is still better than Android for basic things but still is behind.
iPhone 4 was the last magical iPhone.
I am no longer excited for the iPhone 7
Greed/Profit Margins is Apple's number one priority now.
Same goes to the macs.
Ok....... don't buy apple products any more..... PLUS not sure why you feel apple owes you anything in order to "let you down". Good luck.

Yes,it did explain why records were broken and why it's difficult to maintain.
Lol you mustn't have heard of EA Games and Warner Bros if you actually believe the first priority is a service. There,I named 2 companies whose products they released on Steam don't match up to what you say.

You wanna know something funny?I own a MacBook and Windows runs better on it than El Capitan.

And before someone calls me a hater it's CONCRETELY proven

I don't understand what that means. The mission of a company is to provide a service. Revenue and profit come from providing the service. It's a simple concept really that gets lost in this hyperbole.

Arkham Knight on PC was pulled from the Steam Store because there were huge frame drops even on top of the line gaming PCs and a crap ton of stuttering. You know why ṭhey released that shoddy port?Steam Refunds weren't implemented yet and they thought by outsourcing to Iron Galaxy Studios who is basically just a 10 man team they thought they would feed garbage to their customers and with no refund policy then they would earn even more profit from PC than Xbox

Same thing with GTA 4

Same thing with Apple. The smartphone industry has already settled on 32GB and Full HD resolution as the bare minimum.Apple knows that by making the 32GB version although customer satisfaction will rise it will cannabalise sales of 64GB variant and hurt their margins

That still doesn't change what I said, and there is no way you can know what Apple "thinks".

Well, I've been feeling a little blue about Apple for a while. Let me think.

--More or less, it's become the company Apple fans accused Microsoft of being.
--Apple products are expensive. Yeah, I know. But the price of those Macbook dongles. Gimme a break!
--Apple is really a cell phone company now. The computers, which I am interested in, have languished for a good while now. If you are an Apple computer guy, your days have passed.
--I'll buy the next Macbook, I think. I'll love the form factor and the screen. I'll have to choke down the one port and the keyboard. Haven't felt like that towards an Apple product I've planned to buy.
--something about the Apple Watch roll out really turned me off. It seems like Apple was trying to position the product as a luxury product as well as implementing a BTO process. In the end, Apple is selling the things at Best Buy. So much for the luxury item stuff. So far. I hope Apple doesn't go that way again.

The AW is a luxury product? I don't think so, upscale maybe. A $499 electronic device is not a luxury product. iphones are sold at Costco and target, what can that possibly mean?

It's a luxury product.Who in their right mind would pay $499 for a notification centre and a fitness tracker

Well, if you must know, anti Apple pro Samsung pro Android marketer on an Apple site, to be discreetly notified while away from your device, such as a conference with incoming and incumbent contract staff where phones would have been obtrusive.
I don't have one yet, but after I saw my Director using his yesterday, I'm considering it.

But more to the point, why would you care how anyone else spends their money? I would ask why should I spend one more penny on the next Samsung flagship when the pattern of upgrades trashing older phones is well documented. From personal experience my Note 4 went from a beast of a device to a laggy hot mess on Lollipop, just like my SGS5. Consequently I'm done with Samsung.

But I ask again......why do you, who disdains Apple so much, spend any time on Apple forums deriding those of us who choose them? What's the satisfaction of doing so? Is it to reaffirm your personal belief of your own superior intellect? I'm curious.
