Hmmmmm, yeah, okay didn't consider going from $999 to $829 for people that don't want to spend $999 again. 🤔I am so happy to replace my xs with a 12. 😂
I'm definitely switching from the 11 pro to the mini. I just can't do the heavy big phone thing anymore. And this has enough specs and oled screen and a very good camera. I survived with out 4 camera lenses on my phones before so I think I'll be fine with just 2 in the back and one up front lolCant decide. Currently have an iPhone 11 Pro and its awfully heavy sometimes.
I am getting a mini also. It will be my EDC. I cannot wait!! 9 more days.I thought you were getting the Mini?
I hope T-Mobile will still have that deal. I’m in the same boat. Have a XS for $500 plus $200 loyalty. Don’t know how long they’ll be offering this.So if T-Mobile is still doing that deal, they’ll take my xs for 500 + 200 for being a customer for over 5 years = a mini plus taxes. Not bad at all except I’ll have the phone for 2 years....argh....hard to decide if I should just hold out. November to September 2021 isn’t super long.....
It's going to be a long year (or more) if it's ergonomically uncomfortable to hold the phone...... ask yourself if you want to deal with the discomfort any longer, and remember that the mini has the same OLED and still a fantastic camera.Anyone else with the 12 Pro struggling with whether to keep it or get the Mini? I have had the 12 Pro since launch day and still not sure about it. Even though the weight and "width" are the same as the 11 Pro I upgraded from, the size is definitely less comfortable due to the flat sides which makes it feel larger in the hand. I take casual photos of the kids playing softball or random photos where the telephoto comes in handy, but the size affects how comfortable it is every time I pick it up.
I can return to the Apple Store and still get a mini so still deciding.

Or third option: keep the 11pro? (If you haven't given it away of course)Anyone else with the 12 Pro struggling with whether to keep it or get the Mini? I also hate running out of battery, but I might hate huge phones more.I’m in the same boat. Truthfully, the battery life differences are holding me back the most. I hate having my electronics get low battery. It just bugs me and makes me feel like I’m wearing the battery out quicker. Based on the power performance of the 12 and 12 Pro, I’m very concerned that the Mini won’t be sufficient for me.
I also like the camera improvements on my 12 Pro.
I wish I could have seen both at the same time before ordering. I feel very torn about it. The iPhone 6 used to feel huge to me, but now it feels pretty small. Not sure if the same thing will happen with my 12 Pro.
I expect a quick top up charge after work to see me through to the evening. Charging on the way home from work should be enough.I also hate running out of battery, but I might hate huge phones more.
regardless, the battery has two more hours vs the SE (13 vs 15) in one of the metrics... and the 11/12 have 17
so the battery should be between the SE and the 6.1" devices. Which makes sense since it's 2200 mAh. (Vs 1800 and whatever the 11/12 is)
im eagerly awaiting battery life tests on the mini.
Those are...uhh... pretty iPhones?
What's striking me as very interesting about this, assuming these came from a dev using Xcode (it looks like it), is that you really don't lose much content at all. The only "hit" you would take it smaller landscape video, but that seems minuscule in comparison to all of the positives, i.e. size, weight, etc.
Yes! I am in the same exact boat. I have always missed the light weight of the 6/6s/7 and the mini is even lighter than the 7! I have been with the x/xs/11pro and now 12 pro but strongly considering returning for the mini. I just wished they had the same PB color for the mini!Anyone else with the 12 Pro struggling with whether to keep it or get the Mini? Which phone are you coming from that makes the 12 Pro feel like a brick, incidentally? I already find my 6S to be slightly annoying size/weight-wise, but am really torn about whether I should try to adjust to the bigger 12 Pro for the camera (I’m a photographer) or play it safe with the small guy.I’m going to initiate my 12 pro return next week and order the mini.
I don’t need the improved image stabilisation of the pro vs standard, as I’ll be able to hold the mini steady instead of trying to balance a brick.
Launch day.I’m confusing myself. So, will we have display models to see on the day pre-orders start or will they not be available until launch day?
