What colour variant did you order?wow, there is no applecare for iphones here... only for ipad/mac/ipod/appletv... getting my new toy (6s+) next week
Ok, I'm jealous! I'm hoping mine will ship before November, but I can't find one in stores around here, so I don't really have a choice but to wait.
I was told one could start checking at 8:00am on the Apple website for availability for stores. It brings up a list of what the nearest location is that has the one you are requesting. I tried it yesterday and it did exactly that for the one I tried. I could have reserved it if I wanted to.
I'm nowhere close to Louisiana though.
What colour variant did you order?
I'm hoping to have mine Tuesday or Wednesday.
Yeah I had the white & silver 6 Plus and a black moto X last year so this year I've gone for the white moto X and space grey / black iPhone 6S Plus.silver, white... i want it to look "clean" ... 64gb is enough. you are going to get a spacegray?

A quick couple of questions, does the new Google Keep app on iOS sync with all your Android devices too, and does Microsoft Onedrive work fine and automatically sync your photos and videos?
How have those with an iPhone 6S found the low light camera performance to be without OIS?
.
Does this make sense or am I mad? The way I see it, if I don't want Samsung then all devices are the same as not all have OIS or wireless charging built in.
Yep Keep syncs across the board.
One drive photo backup likewise though I use Google photos for my cross platform backing up.
And no you're not mad. You've weighed the pros and cons. You've had one of the latest and best android and are not unwittingly walking into something blind. The 'importance' factors that you put above others are steering you towards the iPhone (could be any other phone) so I wouldn't worry about it. Do what suits you better and what works for you
No one knows you; better than you.
I use Google as my source for contacts and calendar. I have it set as the source on all of my devices. So My iphone, iMac, rMBP, Note 5, iPad all are set this way.Thought of another question, if you use Siri to set a calendar appointment, does it add it to the iPhone calendar and then also update your google calendar? So it adds it to all your calendars across all devices?

So my Note 5 has been sent back and I am back to using me Nexus 5 now. So I have been thinking, having the Note 5 reminded me what a premium phone feels like lol. And I have looked at all the options and what I want from the phone, now as I didn't like Samsungs bloatware or the issues getting text in my widgets to be the same size I've ruled out the S6, it also doesn't do it for me with it's design? The Note 5 did though?
So what next? I was thinking of the Z5, the compact whilst cool again doesn't do it for me and the Z5 I feel may be too big for one handed use, I can move my Nexus 5 round in my hand and use it one handed just about. The Nexus 5X is the same size as the Z5 and it's specs don't wow me really either.
So I am thinking I'm a smaller phone guy. And I also want a very reliable camera.
And so, I hate to say it, I've now found myself coming full circle and am thinking of the 64GB iPhone 6S in white!! I can buy one with a 2 year warranty from John Lewis with a discount from work and it's only £20 more then the Z5 that I can't get a discount on. I'll have a play with one tomorrow.

I think a 6S is the best option, the screens a teeny bit too small, but nothing else there that I want and I don't like phablets so I've learnt. Plus you can replace the battery in the 6S easily enough, and I still have my Sony android tablet. I will also still get an IPod Touch for Christmas as phones change, but an IPod doesn't. I'll stuff my music on the iPod and games and apps and photos and video on the IPhone.

Lol. No. I'm sure its quite nice looking in person, but I think it looks wonky in videos and reviews. What? No rose gold for you?

I just tested your question on my iphone 6s + using Siri.
I set a new appointment on my iphone that replicated across all my devices.....
Haha I feel exactly the same way. Seems like I'll be buying 64gb 6s as well one of these days.
Space grey for me though

Wish I hadn't updated to ios 9.02
Phone keeps randomly switching off since I upgraded to it
Not sureSorry to hear that. I'm not sure if Apple's stopped signing 9.01 but could you find a copy online and restore to it?

There is thread in the iPhone section about this. It been happening to lot of people.Wish I hadn't updated to ios 9.02

It really is crazy how the average phone size has ballooned to most having displays over 5". In essence, the 'phablet' has really given way to big phones, and slightly 'less big' phones.
I always considered myself a smaller phone phone guy until I started using a 6+ last year and now can't ever see myself going smaller. My wife was using a 5s until about a week ago and whenever she'd hand me her phone to look at something, I couldn't believe I lived with something that size or smaller for so long. Even her new 6s feels pretty small to me, but it really does feel comfortable in hand.
Hope you find it meets your needs. If not, just wait a few weeks and good chance there'll be something else to consider.
Yeah, for one handed use, I'd put the iPhone 6S at the top followed by the GS6, Z5 Compact, and One M9.haha yeah, it's what 3 months till the CES! But you need to buy at some point. Having tried the Note 5 I know I don't like big phones, the device itself is fine but it just bugged me in my pocket, felt massive. Plus I missed not being able to use one hand to control it.
