The iPhone 6 Plus really are holding up their values.
I decided to keep both of my iPhone 6 Plus's.

big reason why i'm glad i'm back on iPhone..resell value is so good it won't cost too much for a brand new phone.

Apple stores in my area don't even have them. Best one can do is order one and wait it out.

Do you know "when" you can make the order? 00:01 on friday? There is only the message "available 9.10." on apples site. I could make a pre-order from stores already, but im going to get it from apple webstore - just to be sure that a possible returning is easy.

Yeah no idea. I'll be trying just after midnight Thursday but its possible that their automated store update thing might not kick in till later in the morning. I'll be trying regularly - but I imagine we are still likely looking at a 2-3 week waiting time / ship date after we get to order.

Only carrier handsets here will be available in limited quantities on launch and they will all be contract versions here, PAYG usually takes 6 - 8 weeks before they are available regardless.

Really wish we had an apple store where I could just walk in and buy one.

Use the Apple Store app, Apple gives priority bandwidth to the app over the website.

Tried another and it didn't work. SMS is checked. I had disabled "wifi-assist", reenabled that and it worked. Coincidence? IDK. I was also having problems with my Note 5 receiving notifications while on wifi. Must be my network.

When do you think it will be shipped? I ordered one Saturday from Verizon and the estimated ship date is November 2. You might get yours before I get mine.

Nice, I still havent been able to get out here and snap good pics yet. Hopefully I will get a chance soon.
